At 6,500 feet in elevation, the Barefoot Resort sits among towering pine trees and a rugged, mountainous landscape. With expansive views and a peaceful atmosphere, Barefoot Resort offers the perfect escape from the daily commotion and hectic lifestyle that many are used to.
Guests will be in awe of the area’s natural beauty and will undoubtedly treasure memories of their experience at Barefoot for many years to come. The Barefoot Resort offers an unforgettable experience year-round, so whether you prefer summer, fall, winter, or spring, there is always something to enjoy while you are here.
Studios are equipped with a full bathroom as you enter the room. Past the bathroom is a kitchenette equipped with small appliances, utensils, two countertop burners, a sink, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a countertop bar with two barstools. In the remaining area are a queen-sized bed, nightstand, recliner, and flat-screen TV with a Blu-Ray/DVD player. Wi-Fi included (360 square feet)

Kitchenette was stocked with all we needed: Plates, bowls, silverware, utensils, knives, toaster. Only real disappointment was the fridge only had a tiny ice box and wasn't good at making ice. About a tray a day. Our building didn't appear to have an ice machine anywhere. Might have been one in another building.

The only disappointment was with a studio rental there is NOT a patio attached to your room.

The room itself was ok, but the bed was beyond uncomfortable. It was very difficult to sleep. The room was warm, and windows could not be opened. None of the furniture was comfortable to sit in, and there was nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the beauty. I was disappointed. It was clean.

We are pleased to hear the room was ok and clean. We're sorry to hear the furnishings were not comfortable for you, as the mattress is new and the furniture is in excellent condition. We receive a lot of compliments on the beds and furniture for these studio units. We apologize about the window as we found tape on it from a previous guest that we put on it for them. At that time we had high winds and freezing temperatures and they felt a draft coming through it.
The studio units don't have the ability for a balcony but the Vista building has a large deck with tables, chairs and BBQ grills located just outside the pool room for all of the guests.
We recommend if you stay with us again you stay in a little larger room with a balcony that has a sliding glass door.
