Welcome to Sawgrass Pointe - an incredible vacation spot with something for everyone in your family!

This spacious lagoon front property welcomes you with over 2100+ square feet of living space with 14' vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms and three baths, and a kitchen and dining area large enough for the whole family. Sawgrass Pointe is one of two duplexes (4 units total) who share the pool and grilling area. At the price of a condo, this unit has all the space of a single family - bring your swimwear, bikes, scooters, kayaks, walking shoes, and get ready to explore!
Sawgrass Pointe has two balconies facing the beautiful sunsets over Little Lagoon, a low-density shared pool and grilling area, and the new Lagoon Pass Park. Lagoon Pass Park is a multi-pier, fully-accessible bike path/boardwalk that takes to straight to the pass. Additionally, the property has two balconies on the front that look out over the public beach access.
Inside and at the top of the stairs you will find a well-appointed kitchen and dining area, a sunken living room with a sofa bed, and a king-appointed bedroom with private balcony. Upstairs you will find the smallest of the three bedrooms complete with a full bed and a twin bed with twin trundle. The bedroom has its own private balcony, bath and walk-in closet. It is perfect for children. Moving down the hall, you will pass the washer and dryer on your way to the HUGE lagoon-facing king-appointed Master suite. This room has vaulted ceilings, a private bath with shower and jacuzzi tub and a beautiful large private balcony overlooking the lagoon. It also has a futon for additional sleeping space.

Guests under 25 must be accompanied by an adult over 25 for the entirety of the stay. Small pets are welcome with additional approval and pet fee. This home accommodates 8 in beds and up to 13 total- if using all sleepers and pull-outs. Exterior security may be in use to surveillance the exterior and common areas on the property.

2024 Beach Vacay

The condo was nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. It was nice to have a private pool that didn’t have to be shared with a ton of people. The owners were very nice with answering any questions we had.

Perfect!!

The pictures don’t give this house justice! My family and I came for vacation, plenty of room for all of us which was 4 adults, 2 teens and 8 year old and 2 babies. My only complaint was the pool doesn’t have a liner so it tore the kids feed up, but other than that this house was perfect!!

Wonderful home

Richard and Velinda’s beautiful home is the perfect little get away on the quieter end of Gulf Shores. It’s a short 3 minute walk to the public beach access and the private pool is a plus. We will definitely stay there again!

Beach Getaway!

We had a great time at the Sawgrass point to condo. The unit was very clean and set up ready for our arrival. We found everything as explained in the descriptions. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. We highly recommend this rental unit, location, and hosts. We will do it again!

Everything was wonderful here! From the shared pool, the grill set up, to the short stroll to the beach. Beds were comfortable and the home was spacious. Loved the beautiful sunset off the master bedroom porch!

Unkempt house but great location

The pictures on this listing are old. So old that there has been a house built next door. And the yellow house on the other side is blue now. The general upkeep of the property is poor. There are holes where things have fallen/been removed off the walls and haven’t been repaired. A large portion of the plates have chips. Several of the couch pillows have pencil eraser sized holes where buttons must have been. One of the guest rooms did not have blinds. One of the shelves in the bedroom fell down in the middle of the night. It had 2 shirts hanging on it. When we arrived, the house was not clean. Linens had been changed, and counters wiped, but that was about it. There was food in the couches, hair in the drawers, crumbs and hair in the kitchen drawers and cabinets as well as crusted food and grease on the outside of them. The walls were disgusting. We understand every scuff wouldn’t be wiped, but there were handprints and dirt covering the stairway and hallway walls. There was a literal crusted bloody booger on the wall in the stairway. The fans in every room were covered in black dust. The pictures, bed frames, and window sills were dusty. The grills were absolutely unusable. If this is an amenity you need, you will have to buy one. Besides a couple of buckets and small shovels, the beach supplies are all broken. The carpets were also not vacuumed. And looked liked they had never been cleaned. 3 blankets we pulled out for extra couch beds had crusted stains on them. And the kitchen towels and hot pads also had not been washed. I contacted the owner about the cleanliness issues and heard back from them just over an hour later. Although he did apologize (sort of) he was very argumentative about what cleanliness means. He said they can’t deep clean between every tenant, and they had just conducted one in May. He said they “only have 4-6 hours to clean a 2500 sq ft house”, as though any of that is an excuse to present a dirty home. He also told me that “dusting is not part of their general cleaning”. They sent their cleaner back out to the house. We were told she would be there in an hour. She came 2.5 hours later. And between her and 2 of us that were staying in the house, we spent 1.5 hours getting the house livable. The pros of the house are the location. It is AMAZING. The lagoon out the back and the ocean 1/2 block down was perfect. And the pool was fantastic. The house size was great. And we loved the back porches.

Good place and location

We enjoyed our stay . The location was great . The owner was great to work with and was very responsive to any issues. One note is there are stairs if you have any elderly people in your party. Would stay here again.

Gulf shores stay at 203a west 13th Street

Property was in a good location close to beach and restaurants good Wifi. Beach house was very nice and had a good flowing theme throughout residence. My only complaints are the cleaning crew didn't get done cleaning residence until 3:57pm and we checked in at 4pm so that was hectic with children also prior to letting us into residence one of the cleaning crew members said they broke a talk box off the wall and they would fix it but ended up not doing so I had to fix it to best of my ability so the children were not exposed to the live electrical wires. But overall a good spot to stay with the family.

Perfect Long Weekend

We had a great stay at this property. The house was very spacious. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary amenities and then some. The pool was fantastic. The gazebo provided a nice sitting area and a large griddle, which was perfect for grilling burgers. We also enjoyed sitting in the area under the house when it was raining. We would definitely stay again.

Just ok

The location of the property is great. Close to the beach and not on a busy loud street. My disappointments were with the cleanliness and condition of the property and the grill area. The house needs some TLC and a really good clean. The pictures of the house are old and not the same as the current condition of the house. The grill area is a complete joke. It shouldn't even be listed as an amenity. It was absolutely disgusting. On grill had mold on it and I don'tthink

Great location

We loved the house, very spacious. Just a short walk to the public beach access. We enjoyed the view of sunsets over the lagoon from the decks. Great place to ride bikes or walk to the pass to fish. Having a pool out your back door is a plus. Very peaceful from the crowd on the beach. We will be back.

Great property!

It doesn’t get a whole lot better for the price. Like another reviewer, we experienced some problems with the WiFi and pool, but we understand this is out of the owner’s control. Richard was very responsive to all questions leading up to the trip and during our stay, despite being on his own vacation. Pros: the property was spacious enough for 2 families to fit pretty comfortably. The walk to the beach was just a couple minutes. The pool was a pretty decent size, and we didn’t run into much trouble sharing with the other units. The kitchen was well stocked with bowls, cooking utensils, and cookware. The master bedroom was huge - great bathroom with lots of space. Pretty much everything you’d need as far as shopping is nearby. My favorite was watching the sunset on the second floor balcony over the lagoon - amazing views! Cons: not that the property was not dirty by any means, but there were some random items under the couches and through the first floor (marshmallows and candy wrappers). I suspect the cleaners were rushed to get done, as they were there a little past check in. The pool was shut down for the first couple days - the cleaners said it was algae from the ocean from swimmers not rinsing before entering the pool. The WiFi was also unavailable for half of the trip from a cut line by nearby construction. As with most properties in this area, getting to the beach means crossing a fairly busy street. Although there are cross walks with flashing lights, we found most cars don’t stop. This was a bit difficult with young kids. Overall, this is a great property, especially for the price. Richard is a great host, and I appreciated his responsiveness!

Nice but not great

We were informed Thursday before our trip that Wi-Fi was temporarily down. When we arrived on Sat there was still no Wi-Fi. All the TV’s were only smart TV’s so that meant no TV as well. I had 6 teenagers with us so I reached out to owner. Was told the cable company says it would be fixed in 3-4 days from the Thursday before. I reached out again mid week and was told they were trying to get another company. Although I appreciate that they seemed to be trying to rectify the problem I was the one constantly reaching out to them. Needless to say we went the whole trip with no Wi-Fi or TV’s. I don’t see why if there was a problem this wasn’t getting fixed in a timely manor. The pool was very dirty the whole trip and was actually closed down at the end of our trip. The master is spacious but the bedrooms are small. The first level bedroom was extremely hot compared to the rest of the house despite turning air down. Kitchen supplies are minimal at best. Says it sleeps 12 but there are 6 forks total so we were constantly doing dishes. It’s in a nice location and a short walk to the beach. Hopefully with things getting fixed this would be potentially a nice place to stay. Unfortunately, we weren’t that lucky.

Great place to stay

Had a great time and the place was close to everything. There was an issue with wifi. I texted Richard and he did what he could to resolve it. He contacted the cable company and we attempted to resolve the issue via phone. They had to send out a tech who then realized the issue was outside. Unfortunately the issue was not resolved during our stay. They were going to have to replace the underground cable line. Thank you for trying.
