Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Lanier from this five bedroom, three bathroom luxury cabin situated on a peaceful and secluded lot in North Georgia. This three level cabin features 26 foot floor to ceiling windows, luxurious master suite, hardwood floors, three fireplaces, two large decks overlooking the lake, gourmet kitchen, open floor plan, hot tub, pool table, gentle slope to water, and deep-water dock in a quiet cove.

A favorite aspect of the house is the large outdoor screened living area off the kitchen which includes comfortable seating, hanging swing chair, fireplace, large screen TV, 10-person dining -- perched high in the trees with a beautiful view of the lake! And everyone loves the enclosed outdoor shower with a view of the lake.

This is the perfect spot to enjoy the lake and spend time with family and friends. The spacious cabin (sleeps 16) also makes a great location for corporate retreats and group outings. Bring your boat (or rent one nearby) and water toys during the spring and summer months. Relax and enjoy the changing leaves, autumn festivals, and holiday gatherings in the fall and winter.

The cabin is located 50 minutes north of downtown Atlanta off of GA 400. It is situated on Thompson Creek in the northwest corner of the lake away from all the rough water and crowds. There is convenient access to public boat ramps and a marina with fuel. The cabin is just 10 minutes from the historic town of Dahlonega with its quaint restaurants and shops. Also enjoy nearby golf, Amicalola Falls, pumpkin farms, North Georgia Premium Outlets, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and the best hiking and biking that North Georgia has to offer.

Pets allowed on a case-by-case basis with pre-approval.

This is a beautiful property. 2nd stay here with family of 7. Boat dock is good. I love the layout of this house. Kitchen is very well stocked. Could use a refresh on furniture cushions and a little better cleaning.

We rarely leave negative reviews, but we feel future guests should know our experience. The home was much more dated than the listing photos suggested, and cleanliness was disappointing. The oven, refrigerator, trash can, cabinets, and sink area were dirty, with grease in the oven drawer, leftover food in the refrigerator, a used sponge at the sink, and disorganized, filthy cabinets. Since we planned to cook most of our meals, this was especially frustrating.The biggest issue was the upstairs AC failing, reaching 91. Although the host responded promptly, the repair wasn’t completed until dinner time the next day, and we spent two nights with compromised air conditioning. There was no follow-up or offer of compensation.Other issues included a broken shower curtain rod, moldy porch cushions and mold around doors, an unusable vacuum, only two thin towels per bathroom for eight adults, and leftover items from previous guests.On the positive side, the boat dock was new, and the host always responded to messages, replaced the shower rod, and sent the cleaning person to discuss our concerns.We also found it disappointing that checkout required us to leave the home much cleaner than we found it. With a thorough deep cleaning, updated photos, and better maintenance, this property could be a wonderful lake house.

The host was incredibly accommodating. We were originally supposed to stay the weekend of the ice storm for a bachelorette/bridal shower weekend due to the storm, we punted to a month down the road and Dan was more than helpful with rearranging our stay accordingly. Also, the house itself is beautiful with an incredible enclosed porch. And the hot tub was a lovely feature to enjoy after long days.

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Our first time on lake Lanier and having this cabin to come back to felt like home. Even though it was 15 degrees and snowing, we still enjoyed the water and dock for a nice cold plunge and hot tub! Very clean and comfortable with amazing fire places to relax and enjoy a movie. All amenities worked great (hot tub, grill, canoe, etc) and the fishing was insane. Caught a boat full of 3-6 pound bass!! Also the owner was very down to earth, quick to respond, and open to questions. Thank you!!

We enjoyed the large family space and screen porch on the main floor. Bedrooms were nice and baths clean. We liked all the choices for pots and pans as we are cooking family.One drawback was we had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent.

Everyone loved the cabin. It was perfect for our family. The cabin gave everyone their space if wanted but also areas where we could all be together also. The owner is fantastic!! We had a question late one night, and he answered almost immediately which pleasantly amazed me. The cabin is even better in person than on Vrbo!

Highly recommend. Venue perfectly accommodated our family and friends throughout our week of stay. House is close to major grocery, coffee shops, and outlet shopping. A small convenience store and gas station is even closer. Host was kind and extremely responsive. The deer and birds were also a nice touch.

Dan, the property owner, was very helpful and responsive. The house is well appointed and everything worked well. House is on a nice cove. Shopping and dining options about 10 minutes away in Dawsonville. Our family had a great week stay even though we had rain the first 3 days.

Lovely stay!

We loved our stay at this lakeside cabin. Beautiful view of the lake with gorgeous sunsets. The house was comfortable and spacious. Would definitely come back again!

'Forty something' married, professional couple in the Atlanta area. 4 kids and a large extended family. We grew up on the water - lakes, rivers, and ocean. Love the outdoors, nature, family, adventure, and watersports.

My wife and I both grew up on near the water, and we want to share that experience with our kids and extended family. We love Lake Lanier -- what a beautiful lake!! In particular, we really love the northwest part of the lake since it is farther away from the crowds and rough water. Also, it's closer to the foothills of the North Georgia mountains and all of the wonderful things that area has to offer.

For several years, we tried to find a nice, big rental house on Lake Lanier for gatherings with extended family. Unfortunately, we were always disappointed with what was available for rent. Often, the houses were old and rundown with few amenities, and the owners were not very accommodating or customer-service oriented.

So realizing that there must be other families out there like ours, we decided to build a house from the ground up specifically catering to the high-end market for larger groups. Our house is one of the largest rental houses available on the lake, and we're sure that you'll agree that our amenities and location can't be beat!!
