This charming home is centrally located near the heart of Canyon. It's a short walk to the downtown square, which offers several restaurants, boutiques, and seasonal festivals. West Texas A&M is around the corner for parents and family to visit their students. Families can also enjoy the short trip over to the aquatic park. Palo Duro Canyon is only a 15 minute drive and offers beautiful views, miles of hiking, and biking trails.

quiet and comfy

we came visit kids, grandkids and meet new grandaughter, It was nice to have our own place to rest relax at the end of each day. very comfortable house, quiet neighborhood, close to several things to do

Canyon Hideaway was a great place to stay

This home was a great. The location is very central to WTAMU and the host is excellent. Being from out of town it was nice to have restaurants suggested and they did not disappoint. The host offered us a late checkout which we did not plan to use but in the end really needed it after visiting the university all day. It was greatly appreciated and we would absolutely stay here again.

Within walking distance to town square with shopping and dining options. Property has many small well-thought touches/amenities. Great option for using as a base for exploring Palo Duro Canyon State Park (~15 minute drive away).

Everything We Needed!!

Our host, Kelsey is On It!!We tried to enter the rental an hour early thinking check-in was 3pm and Kelsey called me and remotely allowed entry.She is very kind and really wants her guests to have an enjoyable visit! The house is spotless. Quiet! Awesome!

Very comfortable stay

We made a quick trip to do some hiking and see the play “Texas”. This house was perfect for us! Very comfortable and homey. All the perfect touches to make you feel at home!

Weekend stay

This house was perfect for our stay! We traveled with our 10 month old; the property has a high chair available to use which ended up being a lifesaver for us!

Great stay!

Cute house with lots of space for a short stay. Highly recommend. Owner/manager communicated great long before our arrival. Will definitely stay again if we return to Canyon.

Palo Duro trip

We enjoyed our stay at Canyon hideaway. The house is very clean; and is equiped with everything we need. It is close to Palo Duro State Park; and the surrounding has plenty of restaurants and shops.

Wonderful Hideaway

This house was absolutely perfect for our trip. The host communicated very well. The house was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed including extra phone chargers in the living room. The attention to detail was impressive! I’ve stayed at many VRBOs and this was a favorite. I highly recommend this home.
