This is a beautiful cottage named Knotty Pine Haven. It is sitting on 7 acres of land in a small, well-kept RV campground right on a 418 acre lake. Family friendly kayaks and paddle boats are provided which makes a great space for your kids to run around. It is just 10 miles from the towns of Rockford and Greenville. This is a newly remodeled cottage ready for you to relax and enjoy your time exploring the beauty of nature.

The property is very clean and very well maintained. Waking up to the view of the lake while watching the boats in the morning really enhanced the comfort and visual experience.

Our family of 4 loved this rental. Very relaxing on the porch on this quiet lake. We enjoyed the comfort of having all we needed when we checked in. The description was very accurate. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It’s much more beautiful.

We were there for our son's week with his son (our grandson) and we got to watch our grandson when our son was at work. We loved the cabin and the decor. We really enjoyed the deck and the views of the lake. Our son and grandson had a blast fishing off the docks. It was really windy during our stay. We wanted to make use of the kyacks but didn't get the chance but all in all we had a great stay.

Great place

Great little place. All completely redone/remodeled. Very clean. Comfortable place for a nice getaway with friends. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy cottage

This was such a cute little cottage on Wabasis lake. Celebrating 30th wedding anniversary and it was a great weekend getaway ❤️ Nancy the owner was such a wonderful host and her home was awesome!

Awesome Vacation

We love the cottage and it's alway's so nice and clean!! It is well stocked for whatever anyone needs. We love sitting on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake! Nancy is an awesome host and is alway's just a phone call away.

Great Lake View & Access!

It was a nice quiet setting and we enjoyed our stay. The location of the property right on the lake was great but the community location was a campground which surprised us. Nancy is a great host and we would definitely recommend!

Lovely View

Large windows take in a beautiful lake. Padle boat and kayaks take one on the lake. A peaceful and pleasant retreat.

Great for summer getaway

Very cozy property right off an inland lake. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a weekend trip with the family (assuming your family is 4 or 5 people). Nancy is a very nice host and she is very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at this cute cottage! Very clean, comfortable, peaceful ! We were in the area for an event in Grand Rapids , and had family staying in the nearby Wabasis campground. Perfect for our needs. Nancy was attentive and quick to communicate !

Lovely Vacation

We loved this cottage!!! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the view of the lake, we played games and read and just enjoyed the deck so much. It was very quiet and we loved watching the boats on the lake. We also enjoyed our visits from an eagle who flies right over. We would love to visit Nancy again at the cottage she is the best host...

Views for days

We had a great stay on Wabasis lake. Very clean, newly remodeled. Nancy was quick with communication. The only access to the bathroom was through the second bedroom where our baby was sleeping so a little challenging but otherwise perfect.

Very nice cottage.

The host Nancy stays in a camper a few feet from the front door of your rental which would have been nice to know but, there were no issues. It’s a newly updated cottage. It’s very clean and cozy. Grandpa enjoyed his morning coffee relaxing and reflecting while looking at the lake. Would recommend and revisit. Thank you Nancy!

Great Cabin overlooking Lake

Nancy was a great host. She greeted us and showed us all the amenities. She really is guest oriented. There's a drinking water faucet, countertop ice maker, kayaks, paddle boat. The deck furniture was new and you could choose between stools or chairs underneath massive oak trees. Room for six seated comfortably in the living room facing the beautiful view. Beds were comfy. Bathroom had lots of places to hang things, large counter by the sink and so many shelves in the shower for all your stuff! The place was spotless and she had extra cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc. She was easy to get a hold of through texting and we could come and go as we pleased with the keyless entry. We could still smell the new pine from the charming renovation...nice mix of new and old without getting too rustic. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and watching all the lake activities.

Gorgeous Cabin on the Lake

This is the cutest cleanest cottage ever! Every detail has been lovingly and wisely planned to make for a lovely and cozy experience of lake living. The newly remodeled cottage has gorgeous knotty-pine paneling and comfortable chairs placed for watching the wildlife and birds that frequent the lake. The view of the water is spectacular and the cottage sits above the lake, so that the wonderful passing boats below leave you in peaceful quietness. A sloping lawn allows for easy lake access. The cottage lies at the far edge of a cute RV/mobile home park, so while there is plenty of privacy, there is also the safety of a sweet and friendly neighborhood nearby, where the quiet hours are strictly enforced. The owner of the cottage and park lives close by and is available by phone should you need anything. Beautiful old trees grace this peaceful park and everyone is super nice, while beautiful Wabasis Lake provides an ever-changing picture of color and light for all to enjoy. Our hostesses were so gracious and the young folks were up at dawn having a blast with the kayaks and the paddleboat. Many thanks for welcoming my young friends so kindly! It was a fabulous introduction for them to some of the best experiences Michigan has to offer. We would absolutely love to stay here again someday.

I love meeting my guests, showing them the cottage and answering all of their questions during their stay. Being 83 years old I have asked for support in taking on a co-host. She is exciting about being a part of your support during your time at one of my 5 cottages.

This cottage was remodeled 2 years ago for a totally new look. I love the cheery brightness of the knotty pine. All of the furniture is fresh, new and very comfortable. Wherever you sit in the cottage, you can see the wonderful Wabasis Lake which is 418 acres of awaiting fun and joy.
