This was one of the most beautiful cabins we have ever stayed at. Fully stocked and every detail is thought about, even down to the firewood. The host was very responsive and welcoming. A beautiful, peaceful retreat!

My sisters and I had a wonderful time at this cabin! It’s cozy, very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The host responded quickly when we had a need and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Very accommodating

The cabin was very clean and welcoming! Beautiful surroundings and was perfect for our dog. No neighbors and plenty of privacy. I have never stayed in a place so well stocked and it was nice to come back to after a long day of hiking. Thanks Mike for such a well maintained property!

The pictures don’t do it justice. We could not have asked for a better stay, the cabin was clean and has everything you need. The surrounding area is so beautiful. We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect Getaway

This is our second time staying at the cabin and it was just as cozy as the first time. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The owner is very nice and we loved spending Thanksgiving here. Will definitely be back!

Quaint & Cozy

We loved the cabin and where it sits on the farm. The cabin vibe with modern touch’s were very well designed. It was the perfect space for a weekend getaway! The beds were perfect we all slept like babies. Yall have a beautiful house and we are definitely going to keep this one as one of our favs!! Thank you again for allowing us to stay with you!

Weekend at the Dogtrot Cabin

We loved everything about the cabin! It's charming, very comfortable and beautiful inside. Its rural location means it's quite private and quiet. It is convenient to two (that we went to) state parks with gorgeous waterfalls and nice hiking. We also spent time in Cookeville (15 mins away) at the cute bookstore and several good restaurants. This was a perfect place for us!

Better than home

We loved this cabin. It’s cozy, so comfortable. Updated but still the feel of the being out in the country. Some of the best sleep I’ve had in awhile. Hoping it’s available the next time we’re in Tennessee. Home away from home.

Peaceful Getaway

Our week here was amazing. It is in such a perfect location. You are 10 minutes from Algood & Cookeville and it is quiet and away from the everything. The cabin was immaculate and looked better then the pictures. Our dogs absolutely loved the room outside to run and play. All the amenities that you could possibly need for a vacation are there. The view from the porch was a perfect way to start the day with coffee or end it with an adult beverage. We will be back the next time we come up to the area.

Beautiful & Relaxing

The cabin was a perfect place for us and our older dog. Close enough to enjoy various attractions but secluded enough to unplug and relax. The place is beautiful!
