Was great overall from a location and check in/check out perspective. The one challenge was the cleanliness and bugs. I don't expect bug-free in that area, but there were significant cockroaches.

Fabulous views of both the beach and the mountains from the windows inside the room as well as the balcony. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of busier parts of the island but close enough to amenities to get whatever you need and do whatever you like.

The view was as billed and was very good. There were ants in the bedroom. No outlets worked in either bathroom. The refrigerator is dated and sketchy

Lovely rental with incredible ocean and mountain views! Very clean and nicely furnished. Great hosts and the Hanalei Colony Resort staff were very nice as well.

Incredible place

The pool and jacuzzi was a very nice surprise. Gorgeous and the perfect end to each day of excursions. Loved the location and the property and staff were all extremely helpful and nice.

Love hanalie colony resort. Great location on the beach

Well kept property with dining onsite. Its was quite and peaceful. I've visited here before and will do so again. Mahalo

Great week!

We spent a wonderful stay at Hanalei, near of tunnels Beach and the shuttle for the Kalalau trail came to the Hanalei Colony Resort to dropp on and off us. We recommand this stay!

Cozy, Quaint and Perfect

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location right near the beach and secluded enough so you feel like it's all for you. We loved eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean, playing on the beach, swimming in the divinely-warm pool and soaking in the hot tub. This place has it all! Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Wonderful place on the North Shore

Our stay here was fantastic. The location is beautiful and you fall asleep to the sound of the waves every night. Beautiful beach right out front and close to Tunnels, Haena Beach Park and 15 min from Hanalei. We loved staying out here instead of up in Princeville. The pool was great and local coffee shop and restaurant made it very easy.

Comfortable condo on beautiful north shore

The condo is tastefully appointed with a comfortable bed, lovely lanai with an ocean view, and all the amenities we were looking for. The secluded location and natural beauty of the resort property are 5-star. We especially appreciated the quiet of the location away from the parking lot and the street.

A Slice of Paradise

We were so pleased overall with our stay. The property management was polite and responsive. The ocean view was divine! We particularly enjoyed the pool facilities and Lomi Lomi massages at the day spa on site. Glad we stayed here, near the end of the North Shore road where it was more remote & peaceful. The concierge service was a huge plus in helping set up excellent activities for our family. Will definitely stay here again next time in Kauai. Mahalo!

Perfect Secluded Location

My partner and I enjoyed every second of our stay at Hanalei Colony Resort. The units are minimalist but clean, the grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool/laundry/grill area is stunning (recently remodeled). The location can’t be beat - steps to the beach, away from the hustle and bustle and right next door to a restaurant/bar (Opakapaka) and a coffee shop. At times, we had the beach to ourselves. Hanalei is 10 minutes away as well. We will be back year after year!
