Point Place, Cozy Cabin a Short Walk from the Beach

A quaint, cabin on Lowell Point just a short walk to the beach awaits! This cozy cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen and a twin bed, 1.5 baths, full kitchen, cozy dining area and living room, outdoor grill and wonderful access to nearby trails. Located 100 yards from the beach and Caines head State Recreation area, this home is the perfect place to explore Lowell Point and spot marine wildlife!

Both bedrooms are upstairs and are identical in layout, with one queen and one twin bed each. One full bathroom is located upstairs featuring a stand up shower with the half bath located downstairs on the main floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a dining room with seating for (6) and outdoor seating with a propane barbecue grill are more perks! A note that this property does not have a dishwasher or washer and dryer in unit.

Located 100 yards from the beach and Caines head State Recreation area, this home is the perfect place to explore Lowell Point and spot marine wildlife! Guests have access to the entire home.

Located just 2 miles outside of downtown Seward in the seaside community of Lowell Point, this unique home is within walking distance from beach access and local hiking trails. You will need a vehicle to get around and to the home from Seward. Taxis have been proven to not be readily available for transportation to Lowell Point. We highly recommend a car.

The home does not have an on-demand hot water heater. It is a 50 gallon tank, so hot water may run out during your stay. If so, we ask guests to patiently wait for the tank to fill and heat back up before using again. Also, the heat in the home is powered by a Toyo stove - so you may smell propane or gas from time to time, which is normal. Wood stove is not accessible by guests. Wood stove is off limits to guests.

The home does not have guest laundry or a dishwasher.

As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.

Property was super clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Love the huge windows and overall feel of the house. Upstairs bathroom had everything we needed. Living room lights flicker a bit when on low levels but other than that living room was great. Would recommend and would stay here again!!

Kylee was amazing right from the start. She wanted to make sure our stay in Seward was epic which it was. Our cabin was perfect everything described as is. Nestled in the woods it brought the rustic homey vibe we were looking for. Highly recommend staying here!! 10 out of 10!!

Great place to stay

Our family of 6 was very comfortable here. It is a great layout. We loved being tucked away in the woods. We had a very rainy day when we were there and it was a perfect location to spend the day.

Peaceful at the Point

Seward Vacation

Seward is a great town and the cottage matched the character and style of the place. Plenty of comfortable space for 4 adults and within walking distance to the water and Miller’s Landing. Would recommend to all!

Great cottage and property managers!

Kylie and Clay were excellent hosts. The cottage was just as described and very close to Millers Landing and the beach. Seward is just a 3 mile drive from the cottage. Check in was very easy as was check out! Thank you for a great stay.
