Beachfront property located on Resurrection Bay!

This newly renovated listing is a perfect place to spend your time adventuring in Seward. Drive through town and down the bay side Lowell Point access road. Keep your eyes open for otters, whales and sea lions! The vacation house is on the inland side of the road with direct beach access to the bay. Enjoy a spacious patio/barbecue area with a great view. Within easy walking distance of Millers Landing. Our sweet home is feed water from a cistern that collects rain water so in the summer months when there is little rain, we ask our guests to be mindful to conserve the water.

The house was in a great location with a beautiful view. We loved the upstairs deck area and the fire pit(s). We were visiting our daughter who was working at Miller's Landing, so we were so close to her. We also loved being close to the town of Seward but it felt very quiet and peaceful at the home. We cooked in one night and found the kitchen / grill very well appointed and easy to use. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. We'd love to be able to come back in the future.

If want place at Miller’s Landing area, this very nice choice. It’s a rustic home & setting. A few things to be aware of; no washer/dryer or dishwasher. The stairs to the upstairs 2nd bedroom are very steep & if have young kids or older adults something to consider. A minor inconvenience turned out to be the coffee setup is whole beans only. That’s fine but the grinder was burnt out.

Great waterfront spot - group of 6 loved it!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful cabin on Resurrection Bay. What a surprise to wake up to look out the front window and see the mountains and wildlife each morning. We thoroughly loved our stay here! Property owner was wonderful and even worked with us to have a special gift waiting when we arrived. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time!!!

Amazing property!

Our family of 6 had a lovely stay here. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy, and the location was fantastic! We enjoyed being able to go for walks along the beach and on the Caines Head trail straight from the cabin.

Peaceful Home

We had a great 5 days at this home. The beach is beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing on the upper deck. There was plenty of space for our family of 4.

Family adventure

We had a great stay, and loved the view, the easy access to walk on the ocean and cooking the fish we caught over the firepit. House was terrific.

Relaxing

Beautiful setting with great space to watch the bay on upper deck and across the street on the log. Cozy and comfortable. Wish I would’ve realized there wasn’t laundry in the house.

perfect respite

We only got to stay one afternoon at this lovely place, much to our dismay! It was the perfect place torment unwind and enjoy great company with wonderful views of the ocean and forest. We definitely are planning on coming back when we can actually take full advantage of the amenities! Thank you!

Trip of a lifetime!

My husband , myself and our adult kids really enjoyed our time at your home. The view from the living room and the deck is beyond amazing. The walk to the beach is easy and enjoyable. Your home had all the conveniences that made meal preparation quick. Loved the view out over the back forest! Thank you so much for sharing it with us! It really made our time here perfect

Not what we paid for. Photos haven't been updated in years. We pulled up and thought we were in the wrong driveway. Bushes and trees so overgrown you can barely see a sliver of the mountains. Old metal structures and kid toys deteriorating all over the front yard. People have tents up on the backside of the property. The street is lined with campers/makeshift homes out of vehicles and "tiny homes". The home smells like mold which made us feel like we were going to get sick. All of the closets in the home had locks on them so we couldn't hang up any of our clothes. The one luggage rack was broke so we had to spread our clothes on the floor and keep them in our luggage on the floor. There is one small mirror in the entire home in the bathroom (hung for 6 ft people and above) so it made it difficult for multiple adults to get ready. The 3rd "bedroom" upstairs has extremely steep steps and the door is a shower curtain. There is one small sofa in the living room to accommodate people for the whole home to relax in. Overall the condition of the home has been lived in pretty hard. Vinyl floor bubbling up, tons of nicks on the walls. On the last day the cleaning lady was dropped off early in the morning in the rain and we felt very uncomfortable and obligated to leave early so she could start cleaning so she wasn't left standing outside waiting. Access to the beach across the street was pretty much the only upside here. Would not stay here again.

For the benefit of future guests, we'd also like to clarify that the neighboring campers and tents you referenced are not visible from the home or its outdoor living areas. The property includes an approximately eight-foot privacy berm designed to screen neighboring areas, and those views would only be visible from the top of that berm, which is not part of the guest space. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure our listing accurately represents the property while providing the best possible experience for future guests.

Nice house!

We enjoyed our two night stay at this home. Just across the street from the ocean, it has beautiful views. We were at the end of the season so many of the restaurants in town were closed, but we still found a couple of good restaurants for dinners. As others have mentioned, this home doesn’t have closet access and it also doesn’t have dressers. Storing our items would have been difficult for more than a couple of nights. The amenities in the listing are accurate and communication with the property manager was easy.

Fantastic stay at Ben's Beach House!

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ben's Beach House. We loved the charming decor --- lots of beautiful artwork and special pieces that make the house feel like home. We really appreciated the high quality linens --- both bedding and the bath towels. I slept as well there as in my own home! Unfortunately, we did not get much of a chance to enjoy the fantastic views shown in the listing pictures, as we experienced what we were told was very typical Alaska weather (drizzling rain, lots of cloud cover, fog, very little visibility), but we didn't let that spoil our enthusiasm for the place. My husband grilled some delicious steaks and we enjoyed dinner from the lovely deck shown in the pictures. All in all, a great stay --- a home we would return to for any future stays in the area. Great service from the rental management folks as well!

Come prepared

Beautiful location and view. Adorable cabin. We booked this cabin for 6 nights and had a great time in Seward and the surrounding area. Things that were a little unexpected were; no access to a closet or dresser. There were padlocks on the closets so we were all living out of our suitcases. It was fine and we made it work but for the price, I feel like maybe we could have had at least one of the closets avail? We felt like the house was also under equipped. There were only 2 trash bags provided for the week and we ran out of dish soap. Shopping in Seward is extremely expensive so I’d do your shopping in Anchorage. Account for everything as the only essentials in the kitchen were salt and pepper. Totally fine but it’s something to plan for. No washer and dryer but there is a place across from Miller’s Landing you can go. Something we discovered a little later.

Seward Escape

Beautiful view close to town!

Quick drive into Seward from this spot but far enough away to really escape. We loved walking on the beach and spotted some bald eagles! House was comfy and cute! Thanks again!
