Welcome Back! Cozy Cabin in Chimney Rock! Short walk to town!

We are so excited to welcome guests back!

Our cozy cabin is centrally located just above Main Street approximately 0.4 miles to downtown Chimney Rock and 1 mile from Lake Lure beach. This perfect mountain getaway will make you feel right at home with its up to date amenities while still feeling the 1940's charm. You can even get a view of Chimney Rock from the property in the fall/winter!

PERFECT LOCATION! Bring your walking shoes, our cabin is located one street back up the hill from main street in downtown Chimney Rock! This walkable cabin has a full kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and everything you need for your stay. After a restful nights sleep wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the enclosed front porch or outside on the back patio.

PLEASE NOTE: There is only ONE parking spot at the house.

*please note, not everything is open after hurricane Helene and some routes to/from Asheville are still unavailable* Area amenities include Lake Lure beach, hiking, shopping, and golf. There are a variety of restaurants in the area as well as a local winery Burntshirt Vineyards and Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery.

You are 0.6 miles from the entrance of Chimney Rock State Park, 23 miles from Asheville with Hendersonville only 16 miles away. Asheville regional airport is 26 miles away. It is a 26 mile drive to the historic Biltmore Estate. The Tryon International Equestrian Center is 20 miles away.

We allow up to 2 dogs and charge a fee of $65 for the first dog and $25 for the second. Friendly and well behaved pups only, please! :)
Please message us when booking with pets- failure to notify before arrival could result in a $200 fee.

A great location and a short walk in to town, so much to see in Chimney Rock, I had seven nights at the cabin and the place is highly recommended, very happy with my choice of accommodation.

Great place to stay! Cute decor! It had everything! Also, fenced patio! We really appreciate#that feature since we were traveling with our pups. Very comfortable! Close walking distance to the shops. Courtney was great with info and timely communication!

Cozy and comfy, convenient to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. I haven’t been up there in over 50 years and was devastated when Hurricane Helana did such horrible damage to so many. Breaks my heart. I’m delighted that the area is coming back to the little town that I love so much. The cabin was perfect (I snore, so hubby was happy to have his own room. The 1/2 bath was a plus. We really enjoyed ourselves so much and we will be back! Thank you so much!

Horrible parking. Have to back down a hill on a one lane road to get out. Some outlets didn’t work. Very low lighting inside, especially the kitchen and living room. One of the metal bed frames squeaked terribly. On the positive side, clean inside and comfortable.

Stayed here with my parents and my Rottweiler then house was quaint but a little cramped for 3 people. It rained most of the time we were there so we had to stay inside most of the trip. But was able to walk to downtown during the rain breaks to enjoy the shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfy.

We couldn’t wait to get back to Chimney Rock after the devastating hurricane to support local businesses. While there is still lots to do , it thriving. Our cabin was perfect. As most cabins in the area are of older vintage this was clean , decor very tasteful. We did no cooking because as I said we came to support the local establishments , kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Recommend highly and we will return.

Perfect Getaway! A true Chimney Rock cabin! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and definitely pet friendly. The fenced in area was perfect to enjoy sitting outside with our dog.Location was everything!! Walking distance to town, great restaurants, and shops. The Host was very responsive and check in was a breeze. If you want the true Chimney Rock experience this is the cabin for you! I will definitely be back.

pictures of the outside of the house were misleading regarding the table and chairs outside on the patio, table and chairs were covered in mold , had not been cleaned in a long time, the grass and weeds need to be cut, it is almost impossible to park a vehicle in the one parking space because of the kudzu growing all over the place. My little dog did not have anywhere to walk because of the grass and weeds even though I paid extra for bringing the dog. It is way more than a one minute walk to the entrance to Chimney rock park, some of the bedding was not clean looking, the appliances looked fairly new and we would not have booked this area had we known how little was open for business. We understand the Helen toll that this little town has taken, the business that we went to were very appreciative of any financial support they can get and the town folks were super nice and the food at the Riverwatch was amazing! I feel this was over priced for what we got for more than one reason. Also, when we booked, it says includes all fees until you get to the check out page and several "other" charges are added.

Amazing stay

Amazing location right next to Chimney Rock Village. Cabin was perfect for our mini vacation. Very comfortable and cozy. Can’t wait to go back next year!!
