Fabulous family weekend to celebrate Labor Day. From the moment we opened the door, we fell in love with all the decor and cozy details. We were all taking pictures to redo our kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. The house has so many amenities and Gina (host) made us feel right at home by sharing a welcome tour with us. Lots of fun sitting around the fire pit, admiring the landscaping and making memories with our family.

Edgewater Escape is a delightful, charming cottage! The cottage decor is of vintage French Country with tons of charm and elegance. Gina and David have lovingly restored it resulting in a very comfortable well stocked home that makes you feel welcome and cozy the minute you walk in. They have thought of everything one would need. The location in the heart of Edinboro is awesome. The property, both inside and out, is impeccable and inviting! They were excellent hosts and communicators. Thank you Gina and David for sharing this slice of Heaven with us. We had a fabulous friend and family weekend and will be back again!

Our stay at Gina’s Edgewater Escape was outstanding. The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Gina is an exceptional host — proactive, friendly, and clearly committed to making her guests feel at home.We spent a few days in Edinboro to drop off our incoming freshman, and having such a comfortable, welcoming place to return to each evening made the transition so much easier. The location is ideal, the home is immaculate, and Gina’s hospitality sets the bar high. We’re grateful for the experience and highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Edinboro.

Wonderful space for a family vacation

The house is beautiful. The decor is gorgeous. It was SO much cozier than staying in a hotel, and its located near several restaurants and right on the lake. You couldnt ask for a better spot.

Beautiful Stay for Family

Beautiful Cottage and great access to the Lake. Perfect for our family of 6. Good location for day trip to Lake Erie and also walkable to cute, area shops downtown. Rooms were beautifully decorated. Outdoor firepit and kayaks were a hit!

Edgewater Escape, an excellent place to stay! Staying at this location was an awesome experience, you can tell the owners took the time to think about the smallest details to make your trip comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated. The scenery and easy access to great locations in Edinboro was great. Meeting the owners was absolutely a bonus! My family and I created great memories and hope to return.

Upon arriving, Gina the owner, was extremely welcoming and helpful during the check in process. It was a niced touch to meet her so she could explain everything, as I respect and do the same at my own home. The home and property is truly something out of a magazine, and most likely is in one. From the most beautiful landscaping to the lake side fire pit, to the most amazing french cottage like inside, it's something our families are looking forward to staying in next year.We thank you for being a superior host with such a gorgeous property. Our children found a love for kayaking and they requested to come back again!

Best rental experience ever

To say this property is beautiful is an understatement, every inch of the home and grounds is thoughtfully curated. Gina is a wonderful host, she goes above and beyond to help with any recommendations or concerns, she will even meet you at the property when you check in to go over everything which is beyond helpful. We utilized the kayaks and swam in the river and had a bonfire each night - they stocked us with plenty of firewood! The house was meticulously clean and tidy, not a speck of dust anywhere, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Edinboro has lots to do and we visited Gina’s store in town which was wonderful! I cannot recommend this place enough! Things to keep in mind when booking: there is only one bedroom on the main floor so there are stairs involved to get to the other three and there are only two bathrooms, one on the main and one on the upper level, these things weren’t issues but with a range of ages in our group we had to place people in bedrooms accordingly. We will absolutely be back to this little escape! Thank you so much Gina!

The house was very clean and quaint. The host was super nice and met us upon arrival to show us the details of the house. This is a beautiful property but the pictures do not show you how close to the busy road you actually are located. We listened to street noise all day as we tried to enjoy the outdoor amenities. We used the kayaks to venture to the lake, if you are not used to getting into and out of kayaks, it may be difficult to get from the dock into the kayak at this property. We enjoyed fishing, swimming off the dock ( heat wave of a week), we loved the Bean and Bear coffee shop across the street. Lakeside Bagels were amazing! We were able to watch Edinboro Fireworks display from the front yard through the trees but honestly this was perfect for our adult family.
