This charming 2 bedroom (4 beds), 2 bath, updated 1940s cottage is in the heart of the Deland, Florida Historic District. Sip your morning coffee in this quiet setting while rocking on the front porch. We’re just a few minutes from beautiful downtown Deland, awarded the “Best Small Town in Florida,” with its unique shops and antique stores. Eat at local restaurants and cafes with outdoor seating Our cottage is only 2 blocks from Stetson University.
All American Rowing Camp for Sculling on the St. John's River start Dec 30-Jan 03 and each week through February 2024

The rental is in a good location. Minutes from downtown DeLand with great stores and restaurants. The property was clean and cozy. The host replies to questions in a timely manner. And is helpful. I would stay there again

The host was very responsive and helpful during our stay! There are many extras provided (snacks, bottled water, condiments, coffee, cooking spices...). Plenty of towels are also provided. The queen mattress was not great, but not a deal-breaker. A positive about the neighborhood is that it is close to downtown with cute shops and dining. The negative about the neighborhood is that it is a bit run-down, with some homes seeming a bit abandoned or unkempt. This property, however, is well taken care of.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Moon Cottage, the house has been renovated and has good curb appeal. Renee was very communicative and provided many amenities to give the cottage a comfortable environment. The house is within walking distance of downtown, which provides restaurants and several options for ice cream! Also, walking distance to Stetson University campus.

Renee is a wonderful hostess. Snacks and water left were enjoyed and so kind of her to do that. She answers texts immediately and helps you with anything needed. The house is convenient for anything you want to do.

Very comfortable and clean! Our host was readily available for questions if we needed anything. There were even waters and snacks provided! Will definitely stay there the next time we visit.

A lovely little cottage

This is a charming cottage in a quiet part of DeLand, close to Stetson and a 15 minute walk to the “downtown” part of DeLand with restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our short stay.

Perfect Deland stay

Clean and roomy. Renee provided every possible amenity. The house and furnishings were very charming. We highly recommend staying there and we hope to do so again.

The Blue Moon Cottage is clean and cozy. You are steps from downtown or Stetson University. No reason to hesitate if you are thinking of renting the place. Plus, Renee is a wonderful host who has thought of everything you might need.

Came down for Rockville and paid for a Mother’s Day trip for my mom to go to the beach. Was a great place to stay very clean and in a good area

Quaint, charming, SAFE, adorable property. Renee is the PERFECT host, even having decorated for my birthday! Everything you need is right there. And so close to Stetson University and the historic district. Perfect place!

We kept the beautiful hardwood floors that are original to the home. It's a quiet neighborhood and only blocks away from downtown Deland and Stetson University.
We have tried to provide you with everything you'll need to feel comfortable and at home here. If you need anything, please call your host, Renee.
