Very cozy little place, well maintained, and all of things necessary in a functional kitchen. I wish that we had had time to avail ourselves of the fire pit. It was close enough in to get what we needed—yet secluded enough to feel out in the country. The host left very clear instructions about check-in and checkout as well as making themselves available when we did the wrong thing and locked ourselves out! Thanks for everything; highly recommended!

Great little country getaway

We used this as our home base over spring break with the kids. Access to tons of great hiking... Pilot mountain, hanging rock, did some sightseeing in King and Mount airy (Mayberry). Also has a great little sitting area around the fire pit. The house itself was clean, is very nicely decorated, and the beds are comfortable.

Lovely home-great location

Everything was perfect from booking to leaving. The home was very clean, comfortable beds, cute outdoor space, well equipped kitchen and was the perfect location between Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain! Easy to get to local towns for food or exploring! Would definitely book again if we travel back to this area!

A Jewel in Pinnacle

A very cozy home away from home with modern touches and beautiful hardwood floors. The owners were incredibly responsive and provided a clean and well equipped place to stay. Loved the extra half bath for our family of four.

What a beautiful place to visit!

The home is so inviting and comfortable. It is convenient to Pilot Mountain (you can see it from the front door) and hiking trails! There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. My wife and I found it to be a great get away and hope to return soon.

Everything about our stay at Pinnacle Cottage was wonderful! The house was immaculate. So clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Host is kind, detailed, and added little extra touches to make our stay even more special. We would love to stay again!

Magical stay at the mountains

The house was super clean, updated, vibey and extremely comfortable. Great outdoor space and indoor experience. Incredible access to wonderful hiking adventures and only 20 minutes from Winston Salem for great dining and nightlife scene. Hosts responded to any and all messages within minutes. This place is a gem.

We enjoyed staying at the house. Very clean and nicely decorated and furnished. Beds are comfortable and everything else works perfectly. Nice and well maintained yard. Really can’t ask for more. Host is nice and helpful. Worth every penny! Thank you!

Pilot Mountain Get Away

This house is a lovely get away! We enjoyed how close it is to Pilot Mountain, so you can climb to your hearts content and only a 10 minute drive home. The owner was kind enough to bring us an extra pot when I realized I didn't have what I wanted for one night's dinner- amazing service!

Pilot Mountain Hideaway

We so enjoyed our weekend at the cottage. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and kids aged 8 & 5) who came for the Pilot Mountain trail race. Was so convenient to everything we needed and was a nice space for us to crash and relax outside of race activities. So well updated and everything you could think of needing was provided. It was a great place to call home for the weekend.

Weekend in Pilot Mtn

We had a wonderful stay at the Pinnacle Cottage! It was obvious that the owners have put care into updating and decorating the home and providing anything you could need during the stay. It was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is extremely convenient to Pilot Mountain for hiking as well as local restaurants and shops. We were also able to make it to Hanging Rock (about 1/2 hour drive) during our weekend stay. Great experience all around!

Great Location

House was clean and looked amazing when we arrived! Even though it had been rented before it looked as if were we were the first. DeAnn is a great host and we plan on staying at the Pinnacle Cottage again.
