Great House

Location and house were perfect as we have family close by. Kids loved the pool, although cold and hot tub. Great house for long or short stay .

Family weekend

Cons: Our group consisted of 5 adult family members. We also had one dog. Our daughter who came with her dog could only stay 2 of the three nights we were booked for but they told us they had to charge us for all three nights for the dog. Also we were told that they could heat the pool before I booked it. Then after I booked it, and it was nonrefundable, they told us there was no pool heater. Upon arrival I wanted to wash my hands and found no soap. Just a little starter soap would be very useful. Also the kitchen could use dish towels and a little soap for dish washing. It was a very nicely redesigned home, a few minor niceties would go a long way. Pros: The home was very spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the screeened-in back porch with a table to sit at. The pool area was pleasant but the water was chilly and there is no heater. We did like the hot tub on the upper deck. Also the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and the kitchen was nice but we didn’t do any cooking since we were there to explore the area. The beach and restaurants were only a few blocks away so if we weren’t carrying much we did walk to the beach. The neighborhood seemed fairly quiet and we felt comfortable enough to walk around even in the evening. Overall we were happy with the location and the accommodations.

Hot and steamy

House was beautiful but AC unit could not keep up with the warm temps. The house was 78 and 79 degrees when trying to go to sleep the first 2 nights. HVAC technician came out to house and said that the unit just couldn’t keep up with the demand. The thermostat was nearly never satisfied as well as the 10 month old trying to sleep in those conditions. Property management company suggested keeping blinds closed and back door shut and reminded us that we were vacationing in the hottest month of the year! Bring a fan and some popsicles if your planning on staying!

Beautiful, modern home with private pool!

This was a beautiful home and perfect for our group. We don’t enjoy the beach every single day, so a pool for us is a must! The home is close to most everything Carolina Beach has to offer. The gas for the grill was empty when we arrived, and management came within 10 minutes of calling! The only suggestions I have are: tools are needed for the grill, and more than one towel/wash cloth per person is needed (we washed towels every single day). Highly recommend!!
