I booked this apartment for a board member on a business trip who said it was a great place to stay. Easy check in/out. Carlie and Izzy were a pleasure to work with on my end as well. Very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for the seamless stay!

Clean & comfortable

The apartment definitely met my needs and the price was right. It was clean & comfortable. The location is great if you want to be near the U Med district. My family lives near by. Working with the property managers was good. I ended up getting to Anchorage a day and a half later than originally planned. The apartment is old and could use some upgrades, especially in the kitchen.

Convenient, Clean and Quiet

I stayed here for three days. It was conveniently located within 1.5 miles of my seminars. The host was very responsive to any questions that I had. Cost was better than competitive. Was so happy that I went with a VRBO when I listened to the complaints of other attendees who stayed in hotels. Will be staying here the next time I have to stay in Anchorage.

Apartment on 3rd floor.

Overall, good stay. Minor cosmetic damages in the kitchen are in the apartment, just be aware. Apartment was clean with 1 bathroom. Locked entry door by keypad and front door. Overall would rent again, great place for the price.

Prefect place to stay for what we needed. 5 minutes to University and 5 minutes to bus stop to take you down town

Dog fur balls and Mouse Traps with poor quality internet

The day before or day of our check in the owner said they were moving me to a lower unit and not a top floor that wasn't the same one as listed, I had no choice but to agree. When we arrived the tv- internet was slow at best and kept cutting off. The owner asked what we did to it, we did nothing but try to use it. The owner came over the next day and fixed the tv and wifi. The place smelled of dog urine and was stink. We ran out of hand soap in the bathroom the day before and asked for more toilet paper because there was only two rolls there. They gave us another roll but we didn't use it afterall. I vaccumed and swept the floors because alot of fur was getting on my pants and socks. When I was taking out the trash on the day we were checking out I realized that there were mouse-rat traps throughout the unit which totally grossed me out. The communication at first was good with the owners but it got worse as I was asking about the stuff mentioned above. The owner only communicated through vrbo which seems sketchy like they're ashamed of the place that i paid for and didn't get. Once the tv and wifi was fixed everything was alot more comfortable. The place had old windows and was somewhat run down but i did feel safe and just tried my best to have a great time with my daughter because we were there celebrating her birthday. If i knew about the mouse traps sooner i would of moved out asap.

Wonky Door Lock

My husband tried the door code for 40 minutes and could not access the unit and had to stay with friends the first night. The host said they had problems with the door lock code in the past also. Host refuses to give a refund for the first night. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Wonderful Stay

Enjoyed our stay. Great hosts. Very easy check in. The location was excellent and near UAA. The apartment was as described with many extra amenities. The beds were amazing. Overall, it felt like home!

Good Hosts, Good Place

My friends and I enjoyed our stay in this apartment! It was a beautiful living space with a nice and quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved the living space! Really nice and homey, It was perfect for my 2 friends and I. I would most definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet space

The apt building is older but has a lot of nice updates including new shower surround, showerhead, vanity and flooring. Was a quiet building and apt was clean and comfortable.

Top floor apartment in UMED District

The apartment was big. The hosts leave clear instructions and easy to communicate with. Necessities are provided including toiletries. There is a folder provided by the hosts where you can find places to visit. There is also an entertainment provided (tv shows, movies) and biard games should you decide to stay at home. The beds are comfy. The kitchen needs updating and needs more cooking utensils for tourists who prefer homemade food rather than takeaways. Wendy’s is right around the corner. As you enter the building, there is a distinct smell which is not pleasant but the apartment itself is clean and very spacious as advertised. We only stayed during the night there though the sun sets after midnight, as we were mostly out exploring Alaska during the days but the apartment has a cozy and homely ambiance. It would be nice to have an electric kettle for tea though a coffeemaker is readily available. There is a kettle provided but you have to manually boil water using the stove. Overall, I enjoyed our stay here and will consider renting this apartment again next time I visit.

Alaskan Mid July 4-night stay

Owners responded immediately with any questions we had before and after our arrival. Neighborhood was quiet, as were the other residents/guests in the 6-plex apartment complex. Adequate parking for two vehicles per apartment. Although the complex is older, our 2-bed/1-bath apartment had some updates to make it comfortable and cozy. Beds and bedding and bath towels were like those at a hotel; bath toiletries were provided. There was no air conditioning; however, there were three tower oscillating fans—one in the main living area and one in each bedroom which kept the apartment cool with the windows open when needed. It was nice to have a pay laundry (washer and dryer) available in the complex with remote access through your phone. Kitchen has the basic equipment/tools to prepare minimalistic meals, and we have made a suggestion to the owners of a few utensil items which would be helpful. It was great to have a Brita Water Filter container in the refrigerator for drinking water! Paper towel, dish soap, and salt and pepper provided, along with some welcome snacks. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Very nice apartment to stay in- the neighborhood not so much

The apartment itself was very nice/ clean. Probably needs some maintenance but overall very nice place to stay. The parking was very confusing as there wasn’t numbered spots so it was hard to know if we were parked in the correct area. And on our last night the neighbors were yelling & slamming car doors at 10pm (which I know probably isn’t horrible but when you are stuck in CST time zone - that’s 1am)
