We were visiting Skaneateles for a family wedding and decided to extend our stay and have a mini vacation. The house fit us perfectly, 6 adults, and 2 infants under 2. While the pool entertained everyone most of the time, the proximity to town was an added bonus. We also visited the brewery which had live music and a food truck which made for a wonderful afternoon outing. Would definitely stay again!

Great for a winter weekend getaway

We wanted a place where our family could stay for a few days and just enjoy being together. There was enough to do in the house that even being a bit snowed in was no problem. Beautiful place for a weekend away.

Wonderful place

This accommodation is excellent, situated in a stunning location. The host was incredibly accommodating. Despite the cold weather during our visit, the heated toilets were a nice surprise. I can imagine it being a delightful destination for a summer getaway. We hope to go back!

What a gem!

We came for a hockey tournament and wanted to bring our dog. House was great - beautiful view of the lake. Easy drive into town. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, they really enjoyed the hot tub! My favorite part was the master bathroom, what a great shower and the heated toilet seats were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked. Great host - very communicative!

Quilting Retreat/Girls Getaway

The house is beautiful! Very modern, open floor plan, kitchen is well stocked. Beautiful view of the lake. Warm and inviting. We had a fabulous time.

Wonderful Vacation with family

This house was all and more what was needed for our family. Plenty of room and house is beautiful. Had a couple issues but owner response was almost immediate. Would def stay here again but maybe in summer to be able to use the pool.

Beautiful Home With Sunrise Lake View

We enjoyed staying at this property for our Easter weekend with family and friends. The host got back to me immediately whenever I reached out. The lake views were wonderful! The house had plenty of space to cook and hang out. I would definitely rent this again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Amazing Vacation!

We had such a great time with our family at this home. There was so much to do! We swam, relaxed around the pool, enjoyed the jacuzzi, played pool, watched movies in the theater, went into town and so much more! The owner was always available to answer any questions we had. We already booked for next year!!!!

Fabulous!

It's like staying at a resort. Every amenity is available here - pool, hot tub, entertainment, easy access, a fenced yard for our dogs, spa-like facilities in the house, beautiful views of the lake. Everything was perfect. Great communication with the host and very easy getting in and out. We were in the area for a wedding and travelling with our dogs. This home with a fenced yard made the stay super-easy. If we're ever in the area again, this home will be our first choice for a place to stay.

Nice layout

The pool was an absolute hit!!! The space was as advertised. Did not feel cramped at all with 9 people. Was disappointed on the cleanliness. Major ant infestation in cupboards to the right of the fridge which was challenging when storing food, or every time we opened the fridge they would get inside.

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation in this modern spaceous home. We enjoyed the pool and fireplace with the abundance of firewood provided. We had a little difficulty figuring out the induction stove, and what light switches operated which lights, but Susan was quick to respond to our texts to help us out. Skaneateles was a short drive from the house and is a beautiful quaint village. Although we opted to cook most of our meals at the house because we felt so comfortable there, we had great meals at the Blue Water Grill, the Lake House Pub, and the Mandana Inn. We enjoyed the Judge Ben Wiles narrative boat tour and seeing the beautiful homes on the lake. Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful home us!

Skaneatles getwaway

My wife and I recently made the short trip from the Buffalo, NY area to the town of Skaneatles, which we have been to many times. However, this was the first time renting a house in the area as we wanted to bring our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with this home and its location. Only about a two-three minute drive from the town of Skaneatles, it provided us with a "home away from hone" setting while still being able to conveniently go into town for dinner, drinks and shopping. The house had everything you could ask for. Spacious open concept floor plan with a great kitchen for cooking. There was a game room equipped with a pool table, large sofa seating area with a projection screen TV. Outside area has a great hot tub as well as pool and fire pit for seasonal usage. (Yes, we will try to return this summer to utilize). All together, I highly recommend this location for a couples getaway, or even a small party. You can't go wrong.

64 year old college friends on vacation for a few days

We needed a place to house at least 10 of us. Though we only had 7, it worked out very well. We really only used the first floor and pool area. We made all of our meals in the kitchen and used the grill. When a freak storm took out the lights, the owner told us where we could find candles. Then she sent a box of candles and flashlights for the house for the future. Due to uneven weather, we did not get to use the pool area as much as we would have liked, but we had a great time hanging out in the spacious areas. One doesn't actually see the lake unless you line yourself up for it, but the walks down the lanes were lovely. We enjoyed ourselves, but it was a reunion weekend, not a destination place, so we were very happy with the accommodations.

Great property for a girls getaway weekend! We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the beautiful sunrises. Rooms were very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and lots of spaces for gathering. Beautiful property and great host. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This is an unbelievable house to stay in! I actually wish we had more time to simply be in the house. It was beautiful and lots of fun things to do! We were visiting Skaneateles for my son's wedding, and it was a perfect location to everything we needed. Susan was a fantastic host too!

The outdoor area has everything you need to gather and cook out along with three different fire pits. Everything was very clean and everything we looked for and needed was there. The master bedroom was amazingly large and the laundry room was attached along with the bathroom that was massive! The photos do not even do it justice, there is so much room for everyone to gather inside and out. The hosts were immediate to respond to every question I had and very accommodating with special requests. We will absolutely rent from them again.

A plus experience. The house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the open plan. It was very comfortable and private. The views were fabulous and the amenities were very enjoyable. The hosts were responsive and very helpful. We hope to visit again next year.

Great visit

The home was very comfortable to fit our group. It was very well organized and had everything we needed. Surprisingly the pool was open and we got to enjoy it. Very welcome surprise! Excellent time and will definitely consider coming back.

Lake House Getaway

This is the second time we have stayed at this home. It is lovely. I highly recommend. Susan was extremely easy to work with and we had a wonderful stay - both times, two years apart.
