We loved how clean it was and how quickly we were responded to by the property managers. However, the elevator situation was absolutely horrible! The day we got there we waited almost an hour for an elevator to go take our luggage to our room and then the day we checked out, we waited for 45 minutes outside the elevator on the 10th floor with a toddler and an 11 year old, in the heat, just trying to get down to the 2nd floor with our luggage in order to checkout! We will not stay here again due to the elevator situation, which is truly unfortunate because we truly enjoyed every other aspect of our stay!

Wonderful place

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Tidewater Resort. Everything was great, the beach, the onsite restaurant and the condo. Our only complaint is the elevator service. It seems like the elevator wait is unusually long compared to other like facilities we have stayed in.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful condo and property in the middle of everything. The indoor pool was more like a steam room and giant hot tub than and indoor pool and one of the outdoor hot tubs was broken and cold but other than that it was perfect. The elevators we heard were so horrible worked great for us at all times and we had family staying on the 29th and 21st that also had no problem with them.

Beautiful Vacation

Was a very nice unit would recommend The ocean was very angry the week we were here. The staff were very nice. But the elevators were not quite as bad as we had read in some reviews. We enjoyed our stay

I loved the Condo. I was very pleased with everything except the elevator service. The average wait time was 30-35 minutes. I’m happy with Gibson Beach rentals… but I will never stay at Tidewater again… and it’s a shame,

Over priced for what we went through

The mattresses on the bed and sleeper sofa needs replaced. For someone with back issues, I was in pain all week. The coffee cups were to small for the keurig and over flowed with every cup made. We ended up using one of the plastic cups so it wouldnt over flow. The bowls for cereal could be bigger. The handle for the freezer falls off. The elevators were always an issue. There was hardly a moment when it wasn't. On check in day, I waited for 1 1/2 hours just to return a luggage cart to get our license back. That was ridiculous and uncalled for. By the time someone from security finally helped me, I could barely handle the pain from standing there waiting so long.

May stay

Condo was nice but stove top was filthy! Balcony had old food on it from before we stayed. Didn’t even have corkscrew for wine. Elevator situation is AWFUL!! Need more elevators and ones that someone can’t get in and cancel all the floors that are waiting so they can get to their floor only.

Stress free, the most accommodating stay!

We stayed in 1018 5/1 - 5/5 & words can't explain how stress free & effortless our time was! The condo was equipped with everything needed for a beach vacation - a wagon, an umbrella, folding beach chairs, a decent sized cooler, goggles... I was so surprised! Super convenient to have! This condo was beautifully decorated & very clean! Bed was comfy, living room furniture was comfy, we had nice reclining deck chairs that we literally napped on (LOL). The longest we waited on an elevator was maybe 5 minutes, we stayed during the week though, so it wasn't as busy. Everything was perfect, and I'm good at finding something to complain about but I couldn't find anything to truly complain about besides there only being 2 spoons for me & my fiance to eat our cereal with (LOL). They even added quite a few board games which was a nice touch! If I could give this condo a 10 star review I would. The stay, the location, the parking, the Tidewater Staff... everything was awesome.

Great stay for Spring Break trip

The condo was very clean, decorated beautifully, had great views, and provided everything you might need while staying. This included pots, pans, dishes, beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, a few toiletries and cleaning supplies, the list goes on and on. The king size bed was comfy! The pools were very nice, and we ate at the restaurant on site once—the food was pretty good, service not so much. The location of the resort is great for the beach bc it’s literally on the beach..But it’s not super close to many restaurants (other than Marco’s Pizza) or to Pier Park. We found it was easier to drive places than to walk. We really appreciated the free activity tickets that were included in this rental, the kids loved that! The biggest downfall for us was elevator wait times, and being on the 10th floor the steps were a bit much. Sometimes you would get lucky and catch an elevator right away, but most of the time you were standing there for what seemed like foreverrr (especially when you have kids.) A few more towels/washcloths would have been nice. We had 5 for 3 people so we did have to do laundry a couple times. The thermostat seemed to have a mind of its own/default settings that it went back to after a certain time maybe? Or maybe it was user error lol All in all we had a great trip and this was a nice place to stay!

Woodall Beach Trip 2023

The represtatives are amazing through the reservation process and the payment procedure is easy. The Tidewater Property in Panama City was exceptional in every way. Unit 1018 was the perfect rental for my wife and I. It was our first empty nest trip after being married for 36 years. The unit and property met every expectation. We will definitely return.

September 2023 Stay

Tidewater 1018 was fantastic! We loved the unit, especially the blue walls. My wife wants to know the color. The view was amazing! The security and cleanliness were a step above most. We will be back.

We waited 45 minutes for an elevator. 1018 was very nice and clean! However, every single one of the dishes was dirty. I usually always rinse/wash dishes before using when I stay somewhere but we had to scrub majority of the dishes we used. Other than that our stay was very nice!

May 2023 Stay

The Tidewater resort is awesome! So beautiful and accommodating, although the elevators are absolutely terrible. We waited 45 minutes to get on an elevator when checking out :( Our condo was beautiful (Tidewater 1018) I will say if you have a baby or young children bring something to put over the rug in the living room, it’s a woven/wicker type rug and tore my girls legs up the first night! The condo was very nice and beautiful but every single one of the dishes was dirty. Not sure if that is on the Tidewater cleaning service or the owners cleaning service. Other than those two things we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back!
