You’re going to love this place! River Mountain Lodge Peaks Trail Condo offers the convenience and comforts of a condominium (with hotel amenities) in the heart of historic downtown Breckenridge. Just ski down, walk across the street and you’re home! Plus, you’re just one block from Main Street Breckenridge and a short shuttle ride to the gondola or the Peak 9 base. Your family and friends will love it too!

River Mountain Lodge 318W is a comfortable two-level deluxe condo with excellent proximity to everything you are looking for in a Breckenridge ski vacation. All the comforts of home are here, including a full kitchen, two full bathrooms and a flat-screen TV. The dining table seats four, and there’s room for three at the counter for a quick breakfast or après-ski snack.

You’ll also enjoy the in-unit washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking (one car) with elevator access, a fitness center, an outdoor heated pool, and hot tubs. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels, and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

Great time!

Overall, this was a great condo and it met the needs of our group. The front desk stuff was extremely helpful and having them store our skis was a fun bonus. My only suggestion for the unit is to add some humidifiers and oven mitts.

Reviewer Comments: I love the River Mountain Lodge, it's the best location in town: close to slopes, shops, etc. However, during our June stay the upstairs bedroom was too hot to sleep in at night (we had to borrow a fan and return it each morning), and the towels need to be replaced something fierce (they were like dragging sandpaper across your face they were so hard and rough!).

We attended concerts at the Riverwalk Center about 1 block away. One minor maintenance problem, door deadbolt didn't work. Will be back again.

A nice stay

This particular condo needs major updating & renovation such as cushions on all the furniture, stains on the rugs, showers constantly drip and caulking needs to be redone. Kitchen has the BAREST essentials. No pot holders. A lot of miss matched items, 1 hanger in the master closet, microwave has cracks on it, lighting could be better, no pad in the ironing board. A cheap vacuum. NO cleaning products except Clorox wipes. However, we were out & about all day. We didn’t let the above deter us from enjoying the area of Breckenridge. For the price, it was just fine.

I will not rent here again. The parking garage is always full beyond capacity and the spaces to park are very difficult to get into. Do not go here with a large SUV; as you won't be able to park without being an inch from the other cars or half the car out in the drive isle. The area around this property is very nice and close to many restaurants and shops but the property itself is very outdated. The specific unit we rented (W318) felt even more outdated than the property. The pictures make it look a lot bigger and nicer than what it really is. The upstairs bedroom is very hot and it was impossible to regulate the temperature in any way. It was much nicer downstairs as far as the climate control, but that's where it ends. The TV's are seemingly from the last century and the bathrooms as well. The bed was very uncomfortable, the sofa bed as well. This unit and property need a major renovation to be able to justify the rates they charge. The rental people did communicate well as far as instructions and recommendations for activities but nowhere near enough to make up for the crappy unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, I love working with Summit Mountain Rentals. Everything is handled very professionally and well.The condo was in a nice, desk-attended building, with heated parking, an elevator, and lots of great amenities like multiple hot tubs, sauna, etc.The first night, we had no heat in the condo. A little odd, to say the least, but they responded quickly and came and fixed it the next day.The window above the bed in the upstairs bedroom leaked and dripped on the bed...not a ton, but still, not good. I could see by the water marks that this was not a unique occurrence. Also, the blanket in the upstairs closet had been put away dirty, it had something suspicious spilled on it.The only other gripe I have is that the beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I turned in around 10 every night but only got a couple hours sleep. My friends who slept on the pull out couch had a similar experience.The condo was nice enough, the shower pressure was GREAT! However it took a long time to get hot water upstairs for some reason.. like 5-10 minutes of running the water for it to get hot.The building could use some updating...the carpet in the hallway was stained and torn everywhere. The lobby was nice enough, though.Over all a few minor things that could take the experience from good to great. We loved the location, the service was good (love the ski concierge) and over all nice.

The property in The River Mt Lodge in Breckinridge was clean and location was perfect. The problem was that the Host/Summit Mgmt failed miserably in compensating our 450 loss of funds due to their negligence in handling the major water damage that affected 12 units. We will not be using VRBO again.

Because of a water problem, we had to change condos. The one we got moved to was great and had everything we needed. It was very spacious and we were able to really relax. With the windows open it was a bit loud, but when they were shut, you couldn't hear the street at all. The management group was excellent and it was very easy to communicate with them!

An Amazing Stay

It was my first time in Breckenridge and it was such an amazing stay! The place was so comfy and inviting. It’s also very close to the downtown and there are shuttles that take you to and from the mountain (Breckenridge).I’d absolutely stay here again and again.

Great stay! Better than expected.

Property managers were great, condo was roomier than I thought with 2 full baths ( 1 thought it only had 1). Shuttle to ski was incredibly easy. Walking to dinner was perfect. The front desk was helpful, and the ski check desk made it so easy. Much better than stuffing your stuff into a ski locker. There were not pool towels in room, and the front desk couldn’t give us any bc they don’t manage the property. Other than that it was effortless and relaxing.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The dirty and spotted carpet was 2nd only to the living room furniture. The arm chair hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years. The arms were stained with dirt, grime, grease and sweat. I’m not sure of what else, but couldn’t sit on that chair without covering with towels!!!

Great location.

We’ve stayed in dozens of properties in Breck. This one is located very conveniently. The shuttle stops right in front of the building and the 4 o’clock run terminates right across the street. It’s one block from Main Street, so walking to the restaurants is very easy. The building has ski storage, parking underground is easy, again, everything is easy and convenient. The condo itself is very nice, well-appointed, clean. Everything in working order. Would definitely stay again.

Condo was ideally located. Parking was no problem at all, much better than driving to town and searching for pay parking.

You cannot come here with an SUV and park without being an inch from the next car or half the car out in the drive isle. The unit is much nicer and larger in the pictures than in reality. The bedroom upstairs was super hot and the bed very uncomfortable. The sofa bed was terrible as well. This unit (W318) is super outdated. Even more outdated that the property itself. The TV's were from the last century as well as the bathrooms. In general this unit and property need a major update to justify the rated they charge. The only redeeming thing about this place is the location, but nowhere near enough to make you forget about all the steep shortcomings.
