Wonderful VRBO! The communication from the host was amazing from the very beginning. The cleanliness was better than any 5 star hotel that I have ever seen and the Treehouse ....let me tell you how amazing it was! The most beautiful view in the state. Starting and ending our days at this house was the highlight of our vacation. The furniture was extremely clean and comfortable. We wanted for nothing, even the outdoor furniture was perfect. We can't wait to come back to this perfect quaint yurt treehouse next year.

Great little getaway! The host was very responsive, the bed & furniture were very comfortable (so important) and the fire pit area was perfect to hang out under the stars! If a semi-secluded getaway is what you’re looking for, it’s great! In town, April’s Pizzeria has yummy food! For me, it may not matter to others, but for me, I would’ve liked more light inside (over the bar), for the outside lighting to work and a cleaned balcony. Most of the outside lighting either didn’t work or we couldn’t find the switch for it. The inside was spotless, but the balcony & chairs had not had the leaves/dirt/webs cleaned off. Otherwise, it was great and we had an enjoyable weekend!

Cabin is old and needs some maintenance work but, the inside was clean. I used the water hose and washed off the deck.There was fresh poop on the deck and my wife stepped in it ( she was not happy). Won't stay here again.

What a fun place to stay! Loved living in the trees! The views are incredible! Everything was very comfortable. The host is very responsive, within minutes! My dog alerted me to a visiter in the night, I wanted to believe it was Bigfoot but it probably was just a raccoon :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Tree House! My favorite part about the property is the deck that wraps around the entire house, there is ample seating, we cooked on the charcoal grill and the views are beautiful. It was so peaceful to sit outside with coffee or wine anytime of day. There is not a fenced in yard or a gate on the deck, we had 2 pups with us and we brought a baby gate that fit across the deck opening which worked perfectly to keep them secure. Because this property sits at the top of a very large hill, the driveway is very steep and there are a lot of steps up to the house itself so this may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Lastly, the location of this property is fantastic, literally down the street from The Greenbrier Resort, minutes away from lovely downtown Lewisburg, easy access to nearby hiking trails and only an hour drive to New River Gorge National Park. This property is a gem and the owners were great throughout our stay.

The best part of the property was the view from the front deck. We also enjoyed walking our dog in the surrounding neighborhood. The location was good, close to town and a park. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the deck and windows (after all, the view was the main attraction and we had to sweep off and clean the deck ourselves just to sit in the chairs or use the small table) and the windows were too dirty to really enjoy the view from inside. In case you are sensitive, there was also a mildewy odor in the house (although it had obviously been cleaned). There is also very little lighting since the ceilings are open. My suggestion to the host, aside from cleaning the windows and deckdeck furniture, would be to put brighter bulbs in the lamps or add extra lamps around the main space. It is a unique place and the views are great. I’m sure in the fall with the leaves changing the view will be stunning. If you go, take a baby gate to block off the deck and your furry friends can enjoy the deck with you. Also bring paper towels and tissues, if you want them. The kitchen had whatever you might need to cook. The beds were comfortable. As I said, it was well cleaned inside (other than stained carpets from many visiting pooches as you would expect, but no doggy odor just the mildewy smell).

We had a great stay at Treehouse. The view was beautiful and the area was peaceful. We would have loved to use the fireplace. It would be great to have that available for future guests.

Tree House Escape

The house is very comfortable, and clean, the view was amazing. Very quiet I am from the area so it was easy to get around the area, having coffee on the deck seeing the deer every morning, beautiful neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again. And I am planning on trying to stay again next year.
