Great for those quick get aways, I really enjoyed the neighborhood and its authentic feel. Not to mention the food options in the area were fantastic!

DON’T BE DECEIVED! THIS IA NO LUXURY UNLESS YOU LIKE BUGS, BAD BEDS ANS BARE BONES!!

This owner should be ashamed for listing this as a “luxury condo“. That’s the first deception. We were greeted by a giant spider which we took outside - The first of several during our horrible five day stay, Didn’t sleep at all the last night after a cockroach crawled across the *kitchen* table in the primary bedroom toward my suitcase - up all night w/lights on rewashing my clothes. The sheets and bedding look like they came from a thrift shop…only one spare roll of toilet paper for 3 adult women. Bare bones. Looks lovely in the pictures. Trust me it is not. The air filters caked with dust as was the chain holding the *bare* lightbulb in the primary bedroom. No boxspring on an uncomfortable mattress . No headboard on mattress in 2nd bedroom - you’re up against the wall with the spiders. The amenities listed “communal pool and whirlpool” neither of which exist on that property when I contacted the owner, he didn’t bother to reply. Worn out dirty furniture on patio which we didn’t use - weeds growing through the brick and rats scampering across. The guests in Unit 2 had that unpleasant experience. My family has stayed in VRBO & AirBnB Properties from California to Paris. And yes, I have standards. This did not meet mine Tried to get a hotel after the first night, but Chicago was booked solid everywhere close to where I needed to be so we dealt with it but you don’t have to. And lest you think me mean-spirited, I sent a detailed email to the owner - no reply.

Overall, our stay was decent. The location was convenient, and there were several great food options nearby that we really enjoyed. One of the highlights was the host's communication they were very responsive, helpful, and easy to reach throughout our stay. We also appreciated being able to check in early, which made our arrival much smoother.That said, there were a few cleanliness issues that affected our experience. The property was only semi-clean overall. The bed sheets had an unpleasant smell, and we found that the garbage in one of the rooms had not been changed before our arrival. While these issues were disappointing, the host's excellent communication helped address our concerns.With a bit more attention to cleanliness, this could be a much better stay.
