The 2 bedroom space was perfect for a weekend getaway with our dog. The communication was excellent and met all of our needs. Would stay again if we ever need a place in the area.

The apartment is a cozy place to relax after a long day in the city! Deseree has thought of everything and makes herself available for any questions. A great home away from home!

Cute little apartment in a cute little neighborhood. We loved the decor and there are plenty of things to do, and we especially loved the cozy back yard area. The only negative thing is that the furniture is uncomfortable, so if you are middle aged and/or have a bad back this might not be the best choice for you. Otherwise we really enjoyed it.

our hosts were super considerate and helpful, it made our trip a breeze and the space was great for our small group! lots of privacy while still being in a cozy neighborhood and easy access to public transportation, could not have been better!

Great place, great host. It was shorter ceilings than expected, other than that it was great. The parking is a little far, but the area overall doesn't seem the bad at all. 10/10.

The whole process from start to finish was easy !! We didn’t get a lot of time in the property as we explored Chicago all day and used it to sleep . Inside was great for our ten year old he didn’t want to leave as they had all kinds of games and things to do to keep you busy.

Unique basement apartment that provides a great base for a chicago trip. Host is very responsive and helpful. Coffee, tea and cocoa bar is a nice touch. 15 -20 rideshare to downtown or you can drive about 15 mins and park.

I stayed here while I ran the Chicago marathon and it was perfect for us! Check in was super easy and the place was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The only downside was that it was over 20 mins from city centre. However, access to transit wasn’t bad if you have the time! Highly recommend this place for the value!

We would book here again. This vrbo was comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need and tons of games/activities. It almost makes you want to stay in instead of explore the city. We were able to hit several stops including a hockey game and Cloud Gate. Street parking by the house was easy to find. Everyone in the city was very friendly. We also visited 2 restaurants recommended by our hosts, Lou Malrati’s and Portillo’s (credit to my husband, he already had them on the itinerary, but happy to see them recommended also) and they were 10/10. As New Yorkers, we were not expecting to be so impressed by deep dish pizza. Our hosts were also very responsive and helpful during checkin and checkout. Very positive experience. If we visit Chicago again, we will look here first.

Just an all around great experience. Deseree was super communicative and helped us with all questions we needed. The space had tons of family friendly activities that kept me and the kids busy as well as a great park right nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

The vibe of the apartment is 90s college roommates with a caveat- they are gracious and hospitable, making sure you have everything you need to stay the weekend. Cool art hangs on the walls and fun games to play. My favorite part was watching my 15yo fully enraptured with the VHS and so eager to learn how to work it. The classic 90s videotape collection was perfect. Deseree communicated clearly prior to arrival, left a nice note at our arrival, and was quick to respond if needed. So thankful to see the house rules and expectations posted. Clear instructions for using the electronics. Another bonus- washcloths! I have no problem leaving a 5-star review for the stay but do have only one area for improvement: the 'couch/sofa bed' isn't very comfortable
