Beautiful little cottage in the PERFECT location. We were looking for something dog friendly and we loved our stay! I would say the only thing that could use an update is the bed, but the place was super clean and a nice private yard to grill in. Overall we loved it and would book again!

The cottage was so cute and very clean! The little fenced in area was perfect since I was travelling with my dog. I didn’t use the chairs, but I liked that beach chairs were available without an additional charge. The host made it very easy to find the place and get into the house with the pictures and clear instructions.

Overall, the property was clean and very convenient to beaches and restaurant's. Suggestions include; Landscaping is needed around the gate. It was hard to find that location (plant vegetation is severely overgrown) and also the patio outside needs to be really cleaned and landscaped we could not really sit out there. I would also address nails that were protruding from the floor in the bedroom, had to wear shoes. I would also recommend that TV usage is only available for streaming.

Impression given that there was more room than there actually was. Clean but dated. Probably needs a new bed. Cutlery was a bit mix and match. Air con and fans worked well. Bizarre bath with two showers working at once. Excellent location near the beach and communication with host was good. Very quiet and restful. We walked to Hyannis but takes 25/30 mins. No shops within walking distance but plenty within a few minutes in the car. All in all we had a nice stay without paying a lot in an expensive place.

Check in was simple with key box to accommodate arrival time. Location close to beach. Kitchen had full size refrigerator and microwave. Hostess was easy to communicate with. Loved our stay!

Very cozy and just so relaxing. The outside area awas great for reading and quiet time.Parking was tricky and perhaps the bushes on the front and back of the space could be pruned.

Location to town & beach was great. Cottage was listed accurate online. Communication with owner was welcoming. The cottage was a nice weekend get away.

It was a mixed bag, but an overall great experience.The owner was communicative and friendly.I'll start with the negatives: the parking is tight. The bushes and vines are in severe need of a major trim.The door handle wouldn't latch and the deadbolt could be difficult. In fact, when we first arrived, the door just pushed open as the deadbolt hadn't been locked properly and the door knob was misaligned.The cottage has a definite patina of age. The kitchen counter is warped, the medicine cabinet is chipped, the refrigerator is a bit rusty, the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work. Several people have remarked about nails protruding from the floor and I, or more accurately my foot, can confirm that they still are and should be fixed.There is a broken CRT TV in the living room, but a functioning LCD TV in the bedroom. It was inconvenient to have to sit on the bed to watch TV.There is no stove to cook on on the kitchen, but the owner was completely up front with us about that ahead of time. Finally, it was a welcome surprise to find a large Jacuzzi tub. It was equally disappointing to discover that it doesn't work. It wasn't advertised in the listing, but it was still disappointing.Now for the positives: it was clean and we saw no bugs (as others had reported). But the star is the location. A very short walk to Keyes Beach and close to the center of town. That alone made everything else insignificant.

Location was fantastic. Being close to the beach, shops, and food was ideal. The cottage itself had multiple ants crawling on walls and the floor, into my belongings and even on me. Not the cleanliest and didnt get much sleep knowing I may wake up with ants on me.

Quick little getaway

We enjoyed a quick little getaway to the cape . The cottage was ideal location. Walking distance to the Beach and a quick little drive till are favorite restaurants . Cottage was neat and clean exactly shown on the pictures . Pet friendly which allows us to enjoy are time here even more . The host communicated the whole time and easy work with . Very happy w are stay .

Cute little cottage close to the beach

The property is cute and small. Great location and pretty quiet neighborhood. Definitely old and outdated, but maybe that’s part of the charm? Bathroom scares me a bit, but overall good experience. Highly communicative host.

The cottage was nice enough but there was one huge flaw. There was no way to cook!There is no stove/oven in the cottage. Outside was a nice five burner gas grill. But – no propane! When I contacted the owner he apologized and said the main house next door had a propane tank that we could take. My husband went over there but couldn’t get the tank free. We were going to just use that grill but couldn’t get the gas knob to turn on. Owner was located in NY. He said he had a friend who was local who could help us. But…couldn’t get ahold of him. He then PayPal’d 120 to us for a dinner (as we had already shopped and purchased the makings of a complete dinner with Ribeye steaks). But that didn’t change the fact that we couldn’t cook for our entire week’s stay.

Hyannis guest house

We had a truck and the parking was too small and we called the property manager and she sent someone to cut back the vines. The property was covered in vines to access the gate. We arrived at night and the AC wasn’t on and it took most of the night for it to cool down. There is only one small window AC unit that is very loud. Spiders were everywhere. They don’t show the bathroom and it was very dicey getting in and out of the pink jetted tub that doesn’t work. It is very rustic and located in a great area but needs a lot of work and regular maintenance.
