This beautifully decorated home with its spectacular views is unlike any other in Big Bear Lake. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac on Inspiration Point at the far reaches of Boulder Bay, the views are breathtaking from every direction. Expect an 'over the top' experience when staying in this home. The unique living space offers a cozy and comfortable cabin feeling. The beautiful full round hand peeled logs, the hardwood floors, granite counter tops and comfortable furniture boasts a true mountain home experience. The outdoor patio with fireplace is where you will probably spend much of your time enjoying the view and relaxing as you listen to the mountain sounds next to a crackling fire. The lower patio is a perfect place to relax in an Adirondack chair with your feet up as you watch the 'Pirate Ship' or 'Big Bear Queen' tour boats go by -- have your camera ready! If you are a sun worshiper, you'll enjoy the 3rd patio lakeside, or better yet, go ahead and walk out onto the dock to be even closer to all of the lake action -- fishing, boating, boarding, tubing, kayaking and swimming. As evening approaches, have your camera ready again because you will see some of the most beautiful sunsets ever.

Visit The Village with all of its unique shops and quaint restaurants. Take advantage of countless hiking and biking trails and other attractions. Whatever you like, we are sure you will make wonderful memories at 'The Grand on Inspiration Point' in Big Bear Lake -- Southern California's only Four Season getaway.

*This home has many steps inside and outside. We are not able to accommodate wheelchairs. Elderly and those with walkers might find it difficult to move freely throughout this house.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! Very clean, very beautiful, the view of the lake is unbelievable! Lots of space for everyone to spread out! And there is a game room on the lower level with a pool table and game table that my kids really enjoyed. Our family had a great time during our stay there. The bedrooms and furniture throughout the house are very comfortable too. Barb, the host, was very responsive and good at checking in to see if everything was going well during our stay or if we had any questions. This is a great place to stay if you want to be right on the lake with a fantastic view!

This Property is located on the tip of Inspiration Point. The Location could not be better. 5 Stars For Sure! The Lakefront views are Breathtaking with the Silhouette of the Pine Trees surrounding the Property. The Home is Large and Dramatic. Many Areas to Enjoy and Entertain. Great Family Retreat Spot. Super Clean. Stocked with Everything you need. Wood Burning Fireplace off the Kitchen was our Favorite Hang Spot. Boat Dock Available. Pet Friendly for 20 Pounds and under. Barb the Owner was great to communicate with and Emilio the Concierge that check us in was Super great as well. Would Book again in a NY Minute!! :) Kirk, Tami and Gypsy Dog

Beautiful location; could be the best location on the lake; great fishing from the dock; no need for boat! Weather was cold, but warmed up nicely. Time to start going two, three times a year! After nine, ten years at this house annually, it's still the best and never gets old. Thank you for having us again and again.

The property is enormous and is vertical with multiple layers of wrap around decks. It sits right on the tip of the peninsula of Boulder Bay. You have a panoramic view of the lake and the big houses across the bay. The master bedroom has well placed picture windows to enjoy the view. Outdoor spa and two fire pits are well placed to enjoy the view as well. I would return.

Great house. Great view. Unreasonable host, unreasonable restrictions. Two 70 year old friends came to visit for 45 minutes and parked in driveway, we were contacted and told we were breaking the rules. At the time two registered guests were not on the premises , so we not in violation of local guest requirements, Driveway had plenty of room for additional vehicle, not bothering neighbors, no loud music , no party ! Asked about one additional small dog because we had a last minute dog sitter cancelation, offered added deposit as well as extra fee and were denied. We felt as if the fee charged for this property should have earned us a little consideration and respect,

When renting a vacation home for family and friends, it is essential to choose a property that can comfortably accommodate everyone in your group, including any pets. It is important to follow the homes occupancy and pet policies as exceeding the permitted number of guests, vehicles and animals violates the house rules and can create issues for both guests and property owners. This includes the several coming and going of additional vehicles and guests. A short visit by 2 friends is never an issue. House rules are clearly outlined in our listing, in the prebooking questions and conversation with the owner, the contract that is signed by the guest and again in the check in information. Given that these rules were communicated multiple times before your stay, it is difficult to understand your concerns. We truly enjoy sharing our home with the many, many guests that enjoy our beautiful home for the past 14 years. We are sorry that this experience was not a good one for you. We wish you the best always and hope you find the perfect home that can accommodate your next trip to Big Bear.

After nine years of coming here, it's always breathtaking. Experienced incredibly beautiful fog hovering over the lake. It's so comfortable at this house. Feels like coming home to nice clean house every time.

Best location on the lake with beautiful sunsets. House is very warm and inviting and easily provided space for our adult kids. There are so many nooks and places to sit or hang out it was easy for my wife and I to get away from everyone to relax. I can't recommend it more highly.

Stunning home and location! Exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you need for a peaceful get away. Beautifully decorated, landscaped and well maintained. There are many spaces to take in the view of the lake or relax by the fire. Plenty of room to enjoy time together or escape for some solitude. Great communication with prompt reply and convenient check in.

The perfect holiday getaway home

The Grand provided the perfect home for my family of 5 adults to spend our Christmas. It was clean, spacious, beautifully located and furnished and had everything we needed to make our stay great. The owner and manager were great communicators and very helpful. We look forward to coming back in the future!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was perfect!

The location is as perfect as you can get. Even with the lower water levels of the lake, the house is situated where the water is deep. We had a great trip and can’t wait to come back.

We have visited Big Bear for years with our children, family and friends, both during the summer and winter, and fell in love with everything it has to offer. We built our log home on Inspiration Point in 1999 and are enjoying it now more than ever.

The Grand is the premiere lake front property on Big Bear Lake. The best deep-water fishing spot on the lake might just be right off the dock here. During your getaway, you can enjoy the Spring budding or Fall foilage over the mountains that create a unique, picturesque view from any spot in the house or yard. Experience nature and the wildlife at its best including chipmunks, squirrels and an array of birds at play. You might evev witness a visit from one of the raccoon families that reside in the area. No lions and tigers and the only bears you'll see are carved ones.

Bring your dog along to enjoy the fun.

Rent a boat, kayak, paddle board near by.

The neighborhood is wonderful for your morning or evening walks, or to seek out the hidden trails that run along the lake and throughout the hills.

Spring and Fall are very delightful at The Grand. Did you know that May/June have no gloom up here with beautiful blue skies and most of the time September/October are two of our best months weather wise - usually very nice for lake activities.

In all, you'll find getting away from the 'city bustle' is a refreshing and uplifting treat that revives your inner soul and will surely have you coming back for more getaways year after year, season after season.
