The cabin is exactly as pictured. Cozy, but big enough for the 6 of us to have our own space. The kids loved the arcade, foosball table, and pool table. There are a lot of bears around the cabin which was a highlight for our family as we spent quite a few hours watching for bears from the deck and gameroom. The cabin is towards the top of the mountain, so it is calm, quiet, and peaceful. The view is spectacular! The hot tub building is a nice touch too. The cabin is a convenient location to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Smoky Mountain National Park. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. We would easily stay here again with our family!!

Our host was amazing! He was attentive and was all about our comfort. The cabin is precious and was as advertised. The location was perfect, it was easy to find and not in the touristy area. Beautiful scenery, minutes away from the National Park. We can’t say enough good things about our stay.

Great cabin and has most anything you need! We enjoyed staying there and had fun. Close to all activities as well. Couple of minor areas were not as clean but everything else was great! We would come back!

Great place

A cool and quiet place to stay. Close enough to downtown for a quick drive down but far enough out for some spacious relaxation. Alex was a very responsive host and I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Great Cabin

Cabin was fully stocked with kitchen utensils and equipment. The spa and the pool table/ game room were awesome.

Great stay!

We had a small trip for my 10 year olds birthday party and we all loved it. Amazing views. House had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay up in the mountains.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed. The picture shows our view from the house. Our kids loved the pool table and hot tub. We saw a lot of bears! The community pool was great. We would recommend!

Relaxing mountain get away

We had an amazing time staying with family at the Groovy Aframe! Our kids loved the games that were available at the cabin. It was such a cozy stay and we loved the unique decor. 10/10 recommend!!

Solid spot

1) very close to Gatlinburg and the park2) the games (foosball, pool, arcade) were clutch to have for the kids3) host communication was very good and we appreciate that they let us check in a bit early 4) place is really dated and could use some updates

Thanks for staying with us Megan! We pride ourselves in providing a 24-hour clean guarantee in the event anything is not up to par. We wish you've communicated about any of the issues at the cabin during your stay. About the drive up, I cannot agree it is terrible. Is it mountainous, yes to a degree, is it windy, indeed. But hey, one can look at it as a beauty of the mountainous terrain as you make your way up to the beautiful location at 2700 feet above Gatlinburg. Glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise!

Groovy A Frame

Fantastic place to stay! Nice distance from main attractions without being in the middle of the hub bub of downtown. The place was nice, clean, well stocked and well furnished. Chris & Melissa were super responsive to questions and needs. We had an amazing trip and hope to be back!

Beautiful!

Great cabin with a beautiful view! The pool table was a big hit with the family. Beds were very comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. We brought our solo stove and had a campfire in the driveway. Lots of bears, so be aware and bring bear spray!

This cabin is so cute. Alex was super responsive and kind. The hot tub, pool table and other games provided were much appreciated. The hot tub was especially appreciated after long days hiking. We did laundry a couple times which was appreciated and no issues with appliances. The cabin was well-stocked. But the location. The location! Beautiful view. We saw so many bears. Walking down the road with cubs, and even on our porch! We went inside of course to be respectful but really enjoyed watching them! I've seen more bears at our cabin than Cades or Roaring Fork. The roads are steep and winding but weren't an issue. You're on a mountain for a reason. So personally this was expected. Alex left amazing instructions. And I found the hey Google feature in the cabin super useful for turning off lights. Would 100% stay here again.

My family of 6 stayed here for 7 days. We enjoyed staying here. Having 3 bedrooms gave us the space to have our quiet time. The pool table and hot tub got used a lot. We also did DollyWood and hiked about 13 miles. We also did Ober Mountain for a couple of days. It was a great location to get anywhere we wanted to.go. overall we had adventure but the place gave us a chance to just relax. We enjoyed the pool a few times and the view was nice there too.

Great time in the mountains

We were only there for two days but loved it! Played lots of pool, went hiking, used the hot tub, and had a fire. Had everything we needed. The drive is twisty and turny with some elevation so just mentally prepare for that if you need to. Super cute, cool place and loved being up/away from the chaos of Gatlinburg- we didn't really do much in Gatlinburg itself other than try to get through it to the beautiful smokies :).

Great place to stay, very clean, had everything you need and good view. Nicely decorated along with pool table and games. Enjoyed the extra’s in the cabin, such as tea bags, coffee, detergents, soaps,, Enjoyed the outside area especially with all the lights, nice hot tub and corn hole game. I had a question about something and Alex responded very quickly. Good service. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Fun birthday getaway

Our family of four had fun celebrating one of oursons birthday here. The cabin is exactly what is shown in the listing and very clean. It has a beautiful view of the mountains from the front porch. Our boys enjoyed learning how to play foosball, pool, and old school games on the multicade. The mountain neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. It was only 10 minutes from the downtown area,
