This modernized 1920's Capitol Row house with hints of mid-Century design has parking out front and is also steps to the Metro. It sleeps 6 comfortably. The home boasts original features and modern amenities. Start your day off with a cup of coffee on the front porch or back patio and wind down at night with a glass of wine! The house is walking distance to Metro to conveniently access popular sights and the best restaurants the city has to offer. Parking pass provided upon request.

Our home is designed to make our guests feel right at home - a home away from home. You will be comfortable on our furniture and there is a Master Bedroom suite, and second room both with King beds. The 3rd room has a Queen bed. Towels and linens included. And each bedroom has a Smart TV.

This home was perfect for our needs, offering privacy as well as a comfortable place to gather, network, and eat. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable, and ample supplies were provided. The only thing we struggled with was that the upstairs hallway shower never got truly hot, even after running it for a considerable time, which was a struggle because we were experiencing an unusual cold snap. But this did not detract significantly from the experience; the convenient location and the provided resources in the home made for a very enjoyable stay.

Nice rental property. Close enough for us to ride share to the football game's we were in town for. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and wash clothes provided. The street parking was no problem over our weekend stay.Will definitely use this location again when in the area.

The hosts were accommodating and highly responsive. The property interior was clean however the back patio area was home to two rat boxes which to us deemed it unusable. The area was close to nationals park and easy to get into DC. We were not aware there was a downstairs tenant which made things uncomfortable for us as it would be are preference to not have had this scenario. Immediate surrounding neighborhood was not what we had expected and was quite run down. The house next door was in disarray and seemed to be the cause of unwelcome odors upon arrival and throughout the stay. The other neighbors were loud and had a dog parking and whining for many hours. Overall we felt the posting did not convey the actual circumstances and surroundings. Would not choose this for future trips.

Nice clean relaxing and convenient

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly convenient for getting around the city. Having two King beds was such a treat—so comfortable and perfect for couples or families traveling together. Parking was super easy, which made a big difference, and being so close to the Metro made sightseeing a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better setup. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Kristina’s home was perfect for our family. We loved the upgrades especially having a tv in every bedroom. That was great. The full refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser was also a bonus and something we really liked. Clean clean clean. That’s so important and this home exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful weekend stay. The house was spacious and updated. The neighborhood was quiet. There aren't many stores or restaurants within walking distance but parking right out front was easy. Kitchen was stocked with gadgets like a blender and crockpot. The main floor had enough space for us to socialize, upstairs had 2 larger bedrooms and one smaller one. Definitly enough space for 3 couples. Super close to public transit and a quick walk to the festival grounds. We would stay again!

This property was perfect for our short stay in Washington DC. The neighbors next door were out pretty late on the sidewalk outside our unit for Sunday night but with the air conditioning on in the unit you really couldn't hear them. Everything else was good. Check in was easy, the owners were available for questions. Would recommend this unit and would stay again. Thank you.

Capitol row House

Older home. Kitchen very updated as well as the bathrooms. Steep stairs if you are not prepared for that. Not very near shops and restaurants. Short Uber ride to the Mall and Capitol.

It was fine

The house did have charm because it was old, and it is close to a metro stop that made getting around pretty convenient. Parking pass was a bit of a pain, and checking in was a little frustrating which I think was overall due to the VRBO app but meant my family was getting eaten up by mosquitoes on the porch as I was being warned and warned again about using VRBO. The beds were decent, the towels great quality. Not the worst place we have stayed, not the best. I think upkeep could be better.

Dissatisfied

The property had many misstatements: 1. Number of bathrooms - 3 bathrooms were listed initially, while there are 2 1/2 bathrooms. That was the ONLY reason we booked the property. The listing was revised since. 2. The location was advertised as "highly coveted" row houses. The house and location are far from being such. It looked like Title 9 property to me. 3. Two bedrooms have AC window units, one of which was leaking and making loud and annoying sounds 4. The bed in one of the bedrooms is squeezed in between the walls. No access to the bed from the sides. 5. The bedding, SHEETS including, is made of 100% polyester, which I have never encountered in my entire life and experience renting houses. 6. The owner promised $100 discount - in writing - but never followed thru. Please do NOT believe the owner.
