Our secluded ohana (guest home) features a grand, unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. The gentle breezes and typically sunny days of our small local neighborhood make this charming hideaway perfect for guests seeking tranquility, privacy, and convenience in a comfortable climate. Whales can be seen (and sometimes heard) from your lanai during their visit to our waters. Unaffected by any surrounding light, the night time is equally enchanting as the stars fill the full canopy of sky. However, all conveniences are so close you'll lack for nothing. Located only 1 mile from quaint, authentic Honokaa, all the amenities and services you may need are simply 5 minutes away. Famous attractions such as Waipio Valley, with its black sand beach, are a short drive as are waterfalls, beaches, and all recreational opportunities. If relaxing at home is your preference, you can enjoy the swimming pool that we share with our guests.

The location is so peaceful and quiet. You can hear the whales breach down below. You have a pool to yourself with a million dollar view. Just wish it wasn’t a full moon - can only imagine how good star gazing would be here with no moon light.

The home was lovely, spacious, and clean. We loved the ocean view from the lanai and the peaceful of the property.We appreciate Rachel suppling us with fresh fruit and it was a joy and a blessing to get to know her for the short time we spoke with her before we left.

We just finished 22 days staying at one of the once relaxing places we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world! So serene and so quiet....A beautiful well stocked beautiful small home looking at the ocean with nothing infront of you except nature. The large comfortable deck was closed in at one end so no matter what the weather we could be outside.Rachel was the perfect host, always available and always helpful!If you want to get away from it all and enjoy paradise, this is it!

Wonderful property, amazing host!

The property is beautiful with a gorgeous ocean view! Very quiet, lots of birds! Our host, Rachel was very nice and the Ohana unit had everything we needed and is very nice. Loved the big kanai!

Beautiful and peaceful. So enjoyed Rachel's guest house. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Fun watching the cruise ships go by at night and looking up at the millions of stars. Plus the fresh fruits and flowers were a special treat. The home itself was the perfect size for us Just wish we'd had more time to hang out.

Oasis

This is a fabulous location. Private and quiet but close to Honoka'a and Waipo valley. The pool is great for laps and the view from the lanai is stunning. Rachel was welcoming, hospitable, and had helpful tips about the island. Overall a fantastic stay! I look forward to a return visit.
