Excellent Mom-cation

We had a wonderful time. The hottub was delightful in the evening stargazing. Quiet pretty neighborhood with friendly neighbors for a morning walk. Close to several shopping and activity locations. Lots of thoughtful touches and amenities. Very helpful and responsive host.

Girls Weekend

We had such a great time this weekend. The space was perfect for 6 women to hang out together comfortably without being on top of each other. The area was beautiful we went for several walks in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace and the serene outdoor space with ample seating. 10/10 would rent this place again

Great stay

The property was great and the hosts were extremely helpful. They sent us maps of the lake, made sure that the water was deep enough for our boat and checked in to make sure all was well. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful location and house!

We had an AMAZING stay - comfy outdoor seating, easy access to the inlet and hottub, great gear for getting out on the river. My family had a blast! The only thing I'd suggest is that the host be clear about pet fees ahead of time. It was $75 for two dogs - that price was fine for the space but should've been transparent/explicit on the rental page. Everything else was as expected or even better!!

Perfect cabin on the lake for a family event.

Clean, cozy. stocked with all the amenities to cook meals. Fire pit was great, plenty of chair for our family. Great location on the channel for boating. Close to stores for grocery shopping.

Very relaxing getaway!

We loved our stay at Jim and Anna's home. All of the amenities listed were included. The location was great and the hot tub and firepit were thoroughly enjoyed on cool Summer nights.

Great retreat

Great location to meet up with family in middle of state. Rib Mountain and restaurants an easy drive. A bit of noise with road and some nearby construction but location fitted our needs. Caught panfish off pier!

Great Girls Trip

We loved our stay at the lodge. Comfortable beds, kayaks, and nearby great restaurants made this trip perfect. Stay here, eat at the Pinewood Supper club and venture out to the Stoney Acres Pizza Farm! I’d bring fishing poles next time.

We needed a place near town for a funeral we were attending and also wanted space for family to visit after the funeral. My sister has a 14 month old puppy that would not do well in a hotel room. Our stay couldn’t have gone more perfectly. The accommodations were exactly has advertised and very picturesque. Thank you!

AMAZING

We literally loved everything about this property. The house was absolutely darling on the inside and super clean. Very well appointed with everything you need for us stay including a special area designed just for your special pet if he or she came along. The outside backyard was incredible. We spent the day fishing off the private deck and enjoyed our nights in the hot tub. Everything about this screams five star! We will definitely book again!

Total Gem

Okay, we've been to Wausau a few times with family and this was, by far, the best we've experienced! The cabin is SO cozy and comfortable. Super easy to find and the neighborhood is gorgeous (and safe!). We arrived after an 8-hour drive with our 2-year-old and the place was spotless, with a little Christmas tree set up, it was nice and warm, and the check-in was way easy. We utilized the hot tub all weekend and loved walking the road surrounding the golf course. I definitely would love to see this place in the summer, but the winter was a 10/10 for sure. Jim & Anna were so accommodating and great communicators (they had to ship us some things we left, because, you know, toddler parents are wildly forgetful). HIGHLY recommend this place just for the river location alone. Great little getaway for our little family! Thanks so much, you guys!

pretty good

The owners communication was above and beyond. We could not get the bucks or packer game and he went out of his way to help us out. Seriously appreciated. A few things with the property stood out as great. Ambiance, hot tub were both great! I do think a good scrub or steam clean of the carpet could be done with the pets that stay there and the coffee pot was not clean from previous use.

Lovely Stay in a Peaceful Lakefront Cabin

Had a wonderful stay with family recently to celebrate my mom's birthday. The house and scenery were both lovely and very calm and peaceful. It also is very conveniently located to nearby grocery stores for food and supply pickup. The house was very well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels, linens, pillows, and paper products. Everything was very clean and in good repair. The kitchen was well laid out to enjoy the family/living space while still cooking, and they have a large table for playing games. We also enjoyed the smart TV that was very easy to stream TV shows to. Overall, would happily choose to spend a weekend here again!

We are both originally from Wisconsin but left for a military career that took us all over the world. We chose to come back in 2022 to be back with family and enjoy Wisconsin for its amazing beauty.
