Rainy weekend

Enjoyed our stay! The weather was the only one that did not get the memo that we were on a weekend getaway. All in all it was still nice. Had no complaints on the house. Amazing view from the dock, to the deck, to the couch, and all the way to the kitchen. Did not get to enjoy the back deck like we wanted to but looking forward to another stay in the future with better weather hopefully. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing

My husband and I came here to relax, and this house did not disappoint. My husband enjoyed fishing and I read all week. Bed is great! Everything was wonderful...highly recommended!

Most relaxing vacation

We loved our stay in the Dreamcatcher on Dauphin Island. It was the most relaxing vacation that we have been on in a long time. We had a great time watching dolphins and the seabirds from the back deck and the dock. You could see the water from every room in the house (except the bathrooms haha). The living room was a nice gather place to hang out while it was raining. You could still see the water perfectly. The TV's were perfect size and great for watching football. Go Chiefs! The two bedrooms had a bathroom attached to each of them so it was perfect for us (two couples). The beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. The whole house was very clean. We liked that there were beach chairs for our use and they came in handy for our beach days. The house is close to both East end and West end beaches. The lift worked great for getting our luggage in and out. Heather, the owner, was wonderful to work with and quickly responded to all of our questions. Our only complaint is that our vacation was over way too soon! Be sure to go to the Lighthouse Bakery for a cinnamon roll! Yum!

Fall getaway

Our stay was perfect! The house was furnished with everything we needed. Heather was quick to respond to all of our questions. The location was great and we really enjoyed the view from the porch. We had fun using the kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles that were available. It was a very fun and relaxing week for us.

Where do I begin. First off, easy booking. Beautiful, very clean home. It’s in a great and quiet location. We will be booking here from now on as long as we can. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone. The owner is extremely nice and helpful as well. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend our 22 anniversary here.

Beautiful home and location

My husband and I loved the privacy of this home. Everything you want to do is all provided. We were there during a bad storm and Heather always checked on us and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We are looking forward to returning.

Excellent Property

Thrilled with our stay at this property. Hosts were so pleasant and attentive. Home was clean, comfortable, beautiful. The location on the water made for such relaxing mornings and evenings. We fished and kayaked daily. We prepared many of our meals at the home and had everything we needed. Beds and bedding extremely comfortable! Nice bathrooms. Many thoughtful elements at this home. All vacation homes should be like this. Looking forward to our return!

Best Vacation!

We had the ultimate get-a-way experience without even leaving the house! There is so much attention to detail put into this home and its amenities; it felt like Heather & Earl thought of everything they would personally want in a vacation and made it a reality for their guests. Everything you would want or need was provided-beach chairs, umbrellas,(even beach hats!), fishing poles, kayaks, bikes, corn hole and ping pong. The view is amazing! Our family of four was comfortable and entertained the entire time. Heather is so friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Fishing getaway

We fished the Alabama Deep Sea fishing rodeo and had a great time. The house was perfect for our family and very convenient to the marina. I would recommend this property.

Truly a 5-⭐️ listing!

The 1st thing my husband said when we arrived, was “You did an awesome job finding this place!” We came to DI with our boat for RMYAT and this was the perfect home with a perfect location. It’s exactly as pictured, was clean as a whistle and had ALL of the amenities plus added bonuses like a bait freezer, kayaks, and paddle boards. It’s also conveniently located to a boat ramp and marina, and within walking distance of the Rodeo site. No more waiting forever at the Rodeo boat dock to unload and weigh in!! 🙌 Heather is an amazing hostess, quick to communicate when needed, and extremely accommodating. We look forward to returning to this same home on our next fishing trip. Thank you, Heather!

Wonderful stay!

We loved the house! It looks exactly like the pictures very clean and I loved our hosts. We loved all the outdoor areas and all the beach supplies they have included! Definitely would stay again!

Well equipped

This property was very easy to access. It had every thing you would need in the kitchen to cook with, which was a plus because the restaurant scene was certainly not what we would consider good choices. There were a few disappointments though. Doors drug on the floors, some windows were not clean/disgusting and one door leaked hot air from outside. Even when it was locked tight you could see outside on one whole side of it. The refrigerator would not keep food cool. Even after turning the settings all the way down, we still had food spoil. It should be replaced. The stairs on the back of the house were sketchy. While carrying our heavy coolers up and down them we were nervous they may collapse. They probably need to be revamped as well.

Relaxation at its finest

This home was not only as beautiful as it is in the photos; However, it is so relaxing!!!! Even though we were in 92 degree weather, we enjoyed fishing and crab catching (working for our dinner), as well as drove to the three nearby beaches!!!! The neighbors were quiet and friendly, allowing us to feel as if we were home!!!! Loved this vacation home and cannot wait to go back!!!!! Thank you Heather for your great Hospitality and communication throughout our trip! The best!

Awesome Vacation!

The Dreamcatcher is a beautiful house with awesome water views! It is conveniently located on the island, close to many of the restaurants and public beaches. Excellent communication with the owners. The king size beds/pillows were so comfortable and the entire house is well decorated/maintained. You can’t beat the water views and bird watching from the huge back deck. This is our 4th summer coming to Dauphin Island and this our favorite house we’ve stayed at by far. Everyone in our family wants to come back to this specific house next year!

Perfect Beach House

Beautiful House! This property has absolutely everything you need and it is decorated perfectly! We enjoyed our stay so much. The beds are super comfy! It is a great location if you like to fish and it has a great view. I highly recommend this home, you won’t be disappointed.

Great house and Great location

The house is very nice with all the amenities. Our group was very happy with our stay. We will visot again. Host was very nice and had great communication. One night we had a bad storm and Heather reached out to make sure we were OK. House location is in a quiet neighborhood.
