The table and chairs are new for the kitchen, we thought you would enjoy them. We hope you had a safe trip home and loved your Maine vacation!

Actually, we talked about this on the phone, you agreed that you have 3 giant service dogs with you and were NOT uncomfortable. The property is private, yet in walking distance to amenities. We appreciate your feedback. Since it is your first trip to our area, I hope you got to enjoy yourselves. On your many phone calls to us, I feel like we accomodated your requests.

Thank you for your stay! I'm so glad you found this small town of Southwest Harbor! It is such a cute town so close to all of the amenities. Yes, the house is on main Street in this small town. The house is neither a previous carriage House which would mean one floor, or a barn, LOL. It is actually an industrial style home, which is actually a thing! People love the open space and industrial/ simple vibes. The bathroom has just been completely remodeled, the open floor plan is amazing. Thank you for mentioning the sliding glass doors, they are being replaced in the spring! I hope you were able to walk to breakfast, shop amongst the eclectic shops in Southwest Harbor, and hike on the trails so close to the house. I would suggest that if you are, not used to being in a small town with some basic traffic, please do bring ear plugs 🙂

Thank you for your review, we appreciate the information. We have grilling tools at the house, maybe they were in the grill? We will certainly make sure! Yes, we do start everyone off with paper towels, tp, and handsoap, etc. As it says in the guest book, we start you off with them! I agree, this is best for 2 people since the pull out couch is the second bed in the one bedroom house. We recently added the sofa bed in case people wanted to have additional guests. Kyle, your tips are great! I am sure that it is helpful to future guests! However, if you read the description of the house, it does explain that the one bedroom is in the loft, and that the first floor has the bathroom, kitchen and dining room. There were also check in instructions sent twice, with instructions to pull all the way in the back of the parking lot and enter in the stand alone house marked #3. I understand that people do not read descriptions, or check in instructions, but I find that that is as much as we can do to help guide the guests. I hope that you did look at the pictures though! It shows the spiral staircase and front door. Really, we are trying to help everyone find their place, and be happy with their choice! We work hard for that 5 star review! Simply Rentals USA

The owner has been involved in this whole reservation, because of the difficult requests of the renters. The first request was a "maintenance request" to change a lightbulb. The second request was an "electrician request" because they could not find a light switch. The third request was to bring out more bedding. There was plenty of bedding for the two beds, and without using "decorative pillows". We know when renters are coming in to complain, and try to get a discount. This renter is the poster child. He has an award on drama. The smoke alarm went off, and I did ask him to unplug it and plug it back in. They left a day early, thank goodness. We were happy to refund some of their money and for them to return home. He was also an "expert" on everything, including theatrics.
