Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely home with a well-equipped kitchen newer appliances, a well-stocked linen cabinet, and an enclosed garage. It would be very helpful to have more detailed TV instructions for each TV (there are 3!) We were unable to use either bedroom TV. List of small kitchen appliances would be helpful. The downstairs bathtub is a safety hazard - very slick and slippery.

Great location! Just a short walk to the ocean or to the Fiscalini Preserve. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies.

Sea’Scape in Cambria

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this house is ideal. You are within walking distance of Fiscalini Ranch and stunning sunset views. The Marine Terrace area cannot be beat for a relaxing vacation. The house itself is well equipped and has plenty of space for two people plus an extra master suite downstairs. Check in and check out are simple. We were very happy with our experience.

Loved everything about this property: the view, the stargazing, the cleanliness, comfortable beds, the big kitchen, sunset light streaming through the big picture window. Easy clear checking instructions and smooth transaction from start to finish.

Nicely renovated but needs some updates still

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time staying here, it was very clean and the unit seemed to be recently updated and I would defintely stay here again with my family. The only problem was, it seemed like it was maybe still in the works of being updated and some things got forgotten about or rushed. The blinds in the bedroom downstairs were installed incorrectly. We had to do some handiwork ourselves as whoever installed the blinds didn’t unwrap the cords from the part of the blinds that got mounted and screwed into the wall, making it so you couldn’t unwrap the cords to close the blinds. We were able to figure it out ourselves but at midnight as we were trying to go to bed which was inconvenient. The window in the upstairs bathroom had painters tape on it like something was left unfinished. The oven and microwave went out in the kitchen the second night we were there, like a fuse blew or something. We didn’t have anything additional plugged in that we could think to cause this. Very inconvenient as we were in the middle of cooking and had to light burners with a lighter to continue cooking and couldn’t finish what we were baking. The front door was riddled with spiders upon arrival. I understand this is a rental close to the coast and nature but some simple pest control might go a long way. Would also recommend getting some type of shades for the very top windows in the living room as you cannot see the tv at all during the day due to the sun. The overall cleanliness and decoration of the interior was great and like I said I would still stay here again. I would just recommend fixing some of the above things mentioned and make sure things are working properly before renting out.

Quiet neighborhood at the beach

The rental was a bit better than described in other reviews. The living room furniture had been covered and looked nicer and the bedding had been updated. Kitchen had what we needed to make dinner in the house two of our nights. Great walks to view the coastline just down the street. Check in and out was contactless and easy. Very comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was super clean as described. The proximity to the ocean is great. Just a block or two And 3 or 4 blocks to the preserve right on the ocean with nice hiking trails. Very quiet and peaceful. The only slightly negative was the oven was not clean and the gas bbq was not useable. Otherwise I highly recommend this place. The manager was nice and easy to work with. We would definitely go back.

There was no interaction with the host. The place was nice and clean. The beds were wonderful. However, the downstairs bathroom had no shampoo or conditioner. The water pressure was not good at all downstairs. The covers on the couch and oversized chairs were torn and need to be replaced. the cables and the electrical wires for the tv ran across the top of the sliding glass door blinds. The refrigerator was spotless inside but definitely needs a new door on the outside.. the wiring under the desk was a tangled mess. Checking In-N-Out could be more convenient by not having to go downtown to check in and back downtown to check out.. most vrbo’s that we have used have a code and we use that to get in and out. Spending a little more money to get this place dialed in would help to give this home a 5. Very nice neighborhood and neighbors.

A new mattress is an easy remedy and well worth it.

Ant attack and needs updates. Disappointed in elements of this stay. The good: Great location in Marine Terrace. Glimpses of the ocean from the living room. Adequate kitchen supplies for light dining. Comfortable large beds for our two adults and two teen daughters. The bad: horrible ant attack. Noticed some when checking in late the first night. By morning two they had infiltrated our groceries and we had to throw away many things we brought. Called the weekend service and they said there wasn't much they could do. I asked for traps or pest service to be called and they told me to call back in two days on Monday... Upon calling they then told me they would see if someone could come on Monday but they usually came on Tuesdays. Luckily they were able to send someone to spray inside the house and the ants were finally gone by Wednesday...just in time for us to check out! Overall, the TV set up in living room was really weird with cords hanging across room. Carpet was stained and some places missing pieces - didn't feel very clean. And furniture covers like living room couch and chair was ripped. Burned out lightbulbs on front of house, porch and multiple in living room. Overall not the best after many other stays in the area.

Perfectly Quiet Space For A Couple

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was only my husband and I. We had no use for the downstairs bedroom but it was nice to have. I come to Camria every year for my birthday and this was my second rental with Scenic Coast. The home was dated but very clean, stocked and perfect. The upstairs shower was lovely, although I could get the window open to ventilate. It wasn't that serious. The living room TV sounds like the speakers are going out and the top window made it hard to watch in the day time. I loved the chair and a half, the balcony and the bed was so comfy. I always bring paper towels and toilet paper but the home was nicely stocked. I had the best stay. I recommend this home and Scenic Coast!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have rented this home before. Good location. Nice, two bedroom sleeping arrangement. Accommodations however, rather dated. Upstairs TV is complicated and does not work with ease. Needs to be updated considerably to operate more smoothly. If Cambria is as short on water as they claim? EVERY rental there; including this one; needs to REPLACE ALL dates bathroom & kitchen hardware to low flow - PERIOD. Kit. sink dripped & you had to fool with it to turn it off. Showerheads were definitely not low flow.
