We want to welcome you to the Wine Down Cottage by the Sea in beautiful Cambria, California. Our cozy cottage is ready and waiting for your arrival.

We have thought hard and long how best to comfort and accommodate our precious guest. We feel that we go above and beyond to make our cherished guests feel comfortable and relaxed while having an excellent time while at the cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay up at the Wine Down Cottage By the Sea! We loved the location with being close to town and the beach. The cottage was also great for our dogs with space for them to play and explore. I also enjoyed sitting out on the patio or around the fire pit in the afternoons (we didn't use the fire pit though!). All communication with Diane was easy, and she was also quick to respond to any questions we had. We are definitely planning on returning in the future!

Another terrific stay, our third visit to the Wine Down. For us, it’s the perfect property: close to town and the beach, great for the pups and just a well stocked, comfortable home.

Beautifully appointed cottage. All the comforts of home in a convenient location to town and the beach. Will definitely stay here again. Diane even called us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our new favorite VRBO.

Amazing amenities (kitchen, games, sitting areas with fire pits and a hot tub!) plus the host is wonderful. This was our 2nd time staying here and we all wish to return to this well appointed home that is close to many beautiful places such as Fiscalini preserve, moonstone beach as well as the Cambria pines lodge across the way where we enjoyed taking in the holiday light display!

Wine Down Cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in Cambria. From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt relaxed and at home. The cottage was clean and had beautiful touches throughout, and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our little dogs. The location was perfect---minutes to downtown, restaurants and the beach. It's walking distance to the Cambria Pines Lodge where you can walk for dinner, the spa or evening entertainment. Diane was easy to communicate with throughout and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. This cottage is perfect for a couple or family getaway and we will definitely be coming back.

Peaceful and a great location

Close to downtown and very peaceful. Beautifully decorated and great amenities. Close to the beach and walking distance to incredible restaurants.

Great outdoor space in Cambria

We had a great finish to our family vacation here. The layout and rooms were comfortable and the entertaining are indoors and out was great for our group of 4. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely, updated cottage conveniently located just minutes from downtown Cambria and the ocean. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen and sits on a beautiful, double-sized lot with plenty of outdoor seating. The host, Diane, was friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Very clean, well stocked and good location

Owner was very responsive and the house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The outside areas are well set up for having a fun time. Would stay again!

The house is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. It is close to town and across the street from Cambria Pines Lodge. There is also a nursery I would recommend visiting.

I have always been in love with Cambria. It was always our get away retreat to enjoy the quiet peaceful town. We decided to buy in 2013. We still love Cambria very much and plan to retire here soon.

We completely renovated this 1967 ranch style home to accommodate what we feel most vacationers would want when they are on vacation. We also love to provide an excellent service for our quest. We would come to Cambria often and because we loved coming here frequently, we decided the next best thing was to own a piece of property here.
