I’ve stayed here a few times in the past year. Great location between Boulder Junction and Land O Lakes. Really nice cabin with a great pier on High Lake. Peaceful and quiet.

Spectacular location right on the water with a lovely outdoor space and updated dock. The loon family that fished off the pier was a real treat! The interior of the cabin does need updating and deep cleaning. If you’re the type to cook while up-northing (like me), the kitchen is not adequate. The oven door does not close and I sustained a pretty bad burn from it (even the knobs were too hot to touch after using it—it is a real hazard and kids shouldn’t get close). Other than those things, it’s very cozy. The owner’s family member next door was very friendly and helpful when a tree fell one night across the only road out and blocked vehicle access—it was cleared by morning!

We had a awesome stay, home is close to lake and its very peaceful, would love to go back and the owner of the home is very helpful.

Beautiful lakeside cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. Located on High Lake between Boulder Junction and Land O Lakes. Short drive to area bars and restaurants. Great hiking and biking nearby.

Price went up from last year, but no improvements. Oven did not close, internet was spotty due to where the receiver was placed on the ground, small refrigerator was never defrosted and wouldn't close properly. Was told maintenance would be over, just to shut it off and use other fridge, was there for 6 days, needed both fridges. Maintenance never came. Kitchenette needs a make over badly. Was told small fridge would be replaced in the off season. Seems more important to have it functional during busy time. Will more than likely look for different cabin.

August fishing trip

My parents stayed here and absolutely loved the location, coziness of the cabin, and the lake! The property owner was very responsive, and it sounded like it was a great experience. Great value also!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed the cozy cabin for a weekend of fishing. Great place! We brought a boat and the dock was perfect for the weekend. We will be back

Great little Cottage for 2-3

Very Clean!, plenty of towels and blankets, Good lake view. Boat ramp is a short walk. Nice new Private Dock. I would rent again!.

2 nights to ride bike trails

Cute little cabin, great location right on the water, very friendly host. The house was just not as clean as it should be.

Instructions Needed

There should be more instructions provided as to renter expectations. For example what do you do with the garbage. We bagged it all and left it in the cabin, didn’t know where else to put it.

I enjoyed the cabin being so close to the lake & the dock was new & perfect. However, the oven door did not close all the way & they said, 'it did work'. I used it with a fireplace poker keeping the door closed against a case of water. The grill needed to be started with a lighter-no big deal, but I could not get it past a light or on stage-not hot enough to grill on. I do not believe in this shape it warranted the price I paid. I may look elsewhere next year.
