Mikes house on the Lake was extremely quiet and comfortable. Everything for a relaxing time away is at this location. If you’re not into peace and harmony with a view, this place is not for you. Thanks Mike!

We love everything about the cottage. Our only issue this year was that we almost ran out of toilet paper and there was no replacement.

Exactly what we were looking for! Updated lakefront cabin has a stellar view of the lake and its own pier with a private boat launch conveniently located next door. Our host, Mike, was very responsive and knowledgeable about the area. His recommendations to visit Bond Falls and to make reservations for dinner at The Guide Inn and Beartrap Steakhouse were gems we would probably have missed had he not mentioned them. Could not have asked for more! Wonderful stay!

The cabin was comfortable and clean, with all of the listed amenities in good working condition. The kitchen had the necessary cookware, utensils, and dishes for meals. The pier was in excellent shape, and the kids enjoyed the yard, adjacent playground, and fire pit. We will be back. Now, if the owners can arrange better weather, it will be perfect.

Lake front retreat

This is a great cabin for families. There are no stairs to climb to get to the lake, and there is a sand beach. We loved the wonderful breeze that came through the cabin with open screens. We enjoyed swimming, and using our kayak’s in the lake. We would come here again.
