What a great place to stay! The property features big, spacious rooms that are very well accommodated and several outdoor spaces that allow you to enjoy the mountain air. Kelli, the host was fantastic to deal with, providing detailed and accurate communication that made check-in and our entire stay completely seamless. We would definitely love to stay here again!

This property is even more gorgeous in person. The kitchen has everything you could need, and i had to make my daughter a birthday cake while here! We can't wait to come back to this stunning property!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Our hosts added such amazing touches like fresh flowers, cookies to welcome us, cream in the fridge for morning coffee, a case of cold water, ice in the freezer, condiments, spices, everything you need in the kitchen, plus a little care package of Tylenol and Band-aids, just in case. They even supplied a phone charging station in case you forgot your charger. They truly thought of everything we could possible need. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the towels were warm and thick. They provided a detailed list of local restaurants, shopping, and hiking trails which we utilized daily. The house was a great location for all our activities. (try the Tipsy Tomato in Cleveland & Anna Ruby Falls in Helen) A great, relaxing vacation in a beautiful home.

Had an amazing stay at this house just before Thanksgiving. Great location, host was very responsive and would definitely come back to stay again.

Our family stayed here for Christmas and it was absolutely wonderful! The house has room and amenities for entertaining. It also has cozy spaces to sneak away to for quiet time. We loved all the porches and decks. The rooms are all comfortable and decorated beautifully. Check in and out was easy and Kelli is a wonderful host!

The house was great and the hosts were incredible! Gold standard for VRBO hosting. So many little things they thought of made the accommodations exceptional. Could not recommend any higher! We will definitely be going back! :)

Amazing property

We stayed here to have our family together for our daughter’s wedding. The place was beautiful and clean. The host was available to answer any questions quickly. I would definitely stay again.

Best Christmas Vacation

All the little touches, from fresh flowers to a Hot chocolate goodie basket made our stay cozy and magical. They even helped us get firewood delivered so we could have a fire every day of our trip. It was a wonderful home away from home and we are already planning our next stay.

Charming cabin in the woods

This cabin is the real deal: older but updated, furnished with attention to detail, a master to die for, suffused with sunlight overlooking the valley. Hosts are nearby and responsive. We loved our week spent there.

Good Cabin

I enjoyed my board game bachelor weekend at this cabin. The hosts made us feel like potted plants. Everything was squared away, and the check in/out procedures were more straightforward than I expected.

Beautiful Experience

Once we arrive the house was beautiful, clean, & cozy. The location is perfect and there’s so many activities that you need to go multiple times. My family and I were happy with everything! Hope to be back soon!

We had such a great time at this cabin! Kelli was such a great hostess and there were so many extra touches provided. The fireplace with provided wood, fresh flowers, waters, just to name a few. There were games and many nice places to sit and hang out, although we really enjoyed the living room with the large couch and tv. We also made use of the kitchen for a few meals. It’s well equipped for making your chili or whatever you desire. My friends and I loved our stay and are already talking about returning.

Amazing Time!

We absolutely loved our stay! We loved the cabin and it’s location. It’s was only a short drive to Helen or Dahlonega and all the wineries. The cabin is very private and the view for the master bedroom is amazing. Our host was amazing! Kelli had firewood ready, wine in the refrigerator and fresh flowers throughout the house. We will 100% stay again!

Phenomenal Cabin in the Heart of North Georgia Wine Country

This cabin was spectacular! We were two families moving our sons to college in nearby Dahlonega. The cabin was finely appointed and the owners were thoughtful in the details. It backs up to a National Forest and thus was completely private. The bedding was superior and very comfortable. The outdoor spaces invite time spent in nature. We will be returning when we go to visit our son!

Love Love Love this house!

Five girlfriends & I stayed for an extended weekend. The house is absolutely amazing! We felt at home instantly! The host, Kelli, is the sweetest & responds very quickly to questions. She even left us a bottle of wine. The house is really close to local vineyards & about 30-ish minutes from Helen. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely stay there again!

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. We loved the rustic feel and the view! The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked, which made cooking dinners with family easy and fun. We had a wonderful time at Lee’s Cabin!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Who is Lee? Lee’s Mountain House was originally built by my daddy, Lee Schutt. It began as an A-frame cabin where I spent my summers growing up in the 70s and 80s, and yes - Kelli Lane was named for me! Through the years, my parents added several additions to make it their retirement home. After losing Daddy in 2020, Scott and I decided to keep the place and share it with others as a short-term rental. We’ve refreshed and redone a lot, but Lee’s touches remain at the heart of it - in the original A-frame boards and beams that have become the master bedroom, in the stained glass panels he crafted, and even in his model trains that still encircle the living room. Lee loved this very special place, and we know you will feel at home here too!
