Very good communication. Everything was clean. Especially bathrooms and kitchen which matter most to me for these type of stays. Pool and hot tub were awesome. Very responsive host. Thank you!

Generously appointed with spacious rooms. Everything you might need is available. Back patio is also spacious although there is no view and no landscaping. Property is located 1/2 mile from a shopping center which includes several good restaurants.Highly recommend!

The house works wonderfully fora large group up to 13. Great bedrooms, nice kitchen and gathering space and a good pool. Cyndi responded to questions quickly and offered helpful info.

We had a great stay! There were 10 of us including 5 teenagers, and everyone had plenty of space. All 4 full bathrooms had double sinks which made things easier. The kitchen is great for large group games and meals! The heated pool was well worth the additional charge as the evenings were cool and we were able to swim comfortably! Would stay again if we were back in the area!

The house was everything as advertised! Very clean, open space and plenty of room. We look forward to returning next year for annual Carlsbad 5K.

House layout and space great for our 3 generation family of 10. Pool actually warm enough in December. 4 kids especially loved pool. Excellent responses from host - even set up a Christmas tree for us on my request. Would stay again.

The home was very suitable for our big family. It had spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. It was supplied very "basically" minimal towels, TP, cooking basics...but a quiet location.

Great vacation stay for large group

We stayed here with a big group of friends. Cyndi was very communicative leading up to our trip and we had everything we needed for a great time. We appreciated the many pool toys as well as beach towels and sand toys.

The house was just as described and more. Welcome surprises such as abundant pool towels, pool toys and board games made it the perfect getaway for our family gathering. The host was extremely responsive and helpful!

This house fitted our needs perfectly. We had a group of 10 in town for a college graduation. There was plenty of space to sleep and it was wonderful being able to just hang out by the pool all day together. The kitchen is well stocked for a group that likes to cook. The location is fantastic being near La Costa resort and a short 10 minute drive to some of our favorite beach towns. We wish we could stay longer!

Great place to stay

We stayed here with a group of soccer players, and it was absolutely perfect. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pool was a big hit. The kitchen had everything we needed to host multiple families with ease. The host was responsive and easy to work with—answered all our questions quickly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Only had an opportunity to stay one night, but the experience was excellent. Beautiful renovated property in a great location with easy access to anything needed. The host was fantastic to communicate with...HIghly recommend

We had a blast last week. My family got together to celebrate my mom and dad's 70th wedding anniversary, and many of us stayed at this wonderful home very close by.My daughters asked me to earmark this property for another time. It had everything we needed to have one of our special meals together here, as we grilled salmon, chicken breasts, and T-bone steaks, and made all the rest of a wonderful meal for 23 people. Wow! We have had many family reunions at many homes around San Diego County, but finally we found one that had enough bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate 12 of us very comfortable. 7 minute drive to my mom and dad's house, and that's a record too.Thank you, Cyndi, for being such a gracious host, and helping us make this event easy, comfortable, and happy!In a couple of years, we will be gathering again for my dad's 100th birthday...

Summer Vacation 2023

Great property that accommodated our family of 8. The large folding patio doors and retractable kitchen window provided a great breeze throughout the house. Property was well maintained and the host was very helpful and accommodating while not being too involved. Location was great for beach access, hiking, restaurants, stores, and freeway access. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Absolutely amazing home with everything needed there for our family of 6! Love the neighborhood as well. The pool and hot tub were perfect for us. The owner was wonderfully communicative and helpful. We did have an ants issue but she jumped on it and got them taken care of with an exterminator. Unfortunately stuff happens but she got it taken care of. We would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend to everyone. Thanks for a wonderful week in San Diego!

Great Home

Our family vacation was most enjoyable at this home. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Plenty of seating. The pool was a hit with the grandkids. Cyndi was a most gracious host and responded to our questions quickly. Many nearby restaurants, grocery stores and activities. This was perfect for the Fall season. Ideal location!

The property was so much more than we expected. I would list this house as having three primary bedrooms. The two suited bedrooms downstairs had very large bathrooms customarily attached to primary bedrooms. The dining room was very comfortable for a large family. The pool and spa were outstanding and the pool water was a comfortable temperature not needing to be heated. The house and grounds were very clean and all the furniture, kitchen supplies etc were spotless. I only wish we could have spent more time at the house. We were in town for a wedding at the golf resort which was very close. Walking distance for some of our group. There also is a supermarket and restaurant just a minute or two away by car or walkable if you like. The host were very quick to respond to my pre stay questions. I give this house and the hist five stars only because I don’t have the option to give more. I would come back to this again without hesitation.

Gorgeous Home, Perfect for Entertaining!

We rented this gorgeous home in February 2024, and had a fantastic time. Lots of room for entertaining with the spacious living room containing a large TV, expansive dining area and huge kitchen with many barstools. The pool area is inviting and immaculate. The kids loved the spa! Also, although we didn’t utilize it, we were pleased to discover we could have heated the entire pool if we wanted to. We had family friends join us in the home, we ordered food from local dinner options, and everyone played board games at the large kitchen table. They brought their little ones and it was nice to see the home had kid toys, games, and a pack-n-play. We stayed with my 2 teenagers, a family friend, my mom and my husband and I, and we all had plenty of room to spread out, with everyone having their own room. My teenagers shared the room with the bunk beds, and it was nice that the beds were larger than usual with a bunk bed situation. Also, the three bathrooms - one downstairs, one upstairs, and one in the master bedroom suite, allowed everyone to have their own personal space. The home was located in a quiet neighborhood, with really kind neighbors, surprisingly close to everywhere we wanted to travel, despite being so far north. We had no trouble getting to and from the airport and the zoo. The host was communicative and helpful within the VRBO app, answering my questions promptly. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks again for hosting us.

Beautifully remodeled

There was a few downsides to the house. It's somewhat close to the coast but not enough to get a great coastal breeze. There is no AC, so got extremely hot and a little too warm to sleep well. Large master bedroom, w/big deck with a fan, ceiling fan did not work. Room with the bunk is very tight in there, no fans at all and small window so my kid was incredibly hot. The 2 other rooms had ceiling fans which was nice. Downstairs there are no fans at all, i had every window open. It would be nice to have some type of air circulation when the house reaches 78 degrees inside. The pool was nice, the 1st day we had the pool heated the heater stopped so the kids couldn't night swim as planned. We waited for the pool person to come next day very late in the afternoon to fix. The pool light came completely out in the spa and scared my husband and I, as we thought that was a hazard for the electrical cord to be showing. We had planned on swimming all night Friday and BBQing. But the pool was cold and the BBQ tank was empty. We had to order out after going to the store to get items to BBQ. The owner brought a tank the next morning. The BBQ was dirty and there was a food item that looked like animal poop. We cpuld not get the BBQ to work, it was heavily dirty and we had to take it apart and clean it just for it to stay lit. I did pick up after someones small dog droppings in the dirt yard as i had my dog, pool toys are all popped, few roaches in the kitchen and silver fish upstairs.

The weekend this guest stayed in our Carlsbad Beachy Lagoon Getaway was much warmer than usual, with temperatures in the upper 70's. Opening our cabana door by the pool, pop up window, sliders, and other doors and windows to create a cross breeze off of the lagoon cools the house quite a bit. We also have 3 ceiling fans and supply a few standing fans which can be moved anywhere in the home. All of our vacation homes are regularly treated for pests and have sticky traps placed to monitor any activity between treatments. I personally inspect them after every professional cleaning and have not seen any roaches or silverfish in this home. Our family lives 5 minutes away and is available to reply to any guest complaints as soon as possible. Please see our other reviews from satisfied and considerate guests. :-)

Everything was nise and clean It has a great layout for large groups. The kids loved the pool. We were there in August and the weather was about 84 in the day. The pool did not need to be heated. The house was comfortable with a breeze blowing through.Unfortunately it was also hot at night. Borderline need for AC. The bedrooms had ceiling fans so we were ok.
