Breathtaking Ocean Views Beach Cottage

This cozy cottage sits on a private white sand, reef-protected beach. Great for snorkeling and safe for kids! You'll enjoy swimming with turtles an a variate of colorful fish! Just sit on the serene sandy beach, enjoy the lush mountains, and captivating sunrises. You are sure to relax in this one-of-a-kind, one bedroom stay, and experience the true magic of Hawaii.

The cottage is decorated island style by local artists. It can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably, a queen bed in the bedroom and two separate twin beds. Other amenities include: Free Wifi fast speed internet, 32' "smart" TV with high definition programing, , full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer, BBQ, swimming pool, and free reserved parking.

The cottage is only 5 minutes from Oahu's number one tourist attraction "The Polynesian Cultural Center." You could spend an entire day traveling through time and space as you experience years worth of true culture from six different island nations. Close the day with an inspiring show ranked #1 in the State. "Breath of Life" with incredible traditional dances, fire dancers, colorful costumes, it reminds everyone how precious life is!

The town of Punalu'u offers a variety of activities including: scenic costal drives, sight seeing, hiking, SUP, world class golfing, horseback riding, whale watching, fishing, surfing and shopping. The nearby historic surfing town of Haleiwa, situated on the North Shore, will satisfy all of your shopping and restaurant needs.
The cottage is also accessible on City Bus rout 55.

Best vacation ever!!! Location can't be beat.

We loved our stay here. You really are right on the beach; I was wondering if the pictures would be accurate but the beach is even BETTER than pictured. A magical time for our family. Book it!

Perfect Place to Get Away From It All

Beautiful location, great accommodations. Quiet, right on the beach, turtles swimming off the shore. Definitely recommend a rent-a-car.

This property was perfect! Great location, very comfortable. I loved laying in bed and listening to the ocean all night. You are just a few steps away from the ocean.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach cottage. There was a lot of construction going on which was a little disappointing but other than that, we were pleased.

Beautiful condo right on the beach, pure oasis

We were beyond thrilled with our stay and experience. The condo was very clean with a lot of amenities. The ocean breeze helped to keep it cooler in the evenings. Love the location, quiet and relaxing with awesome sunrises. If we come back we will definitely stay here again!!

Good location

Location is good and very quiet. Bed needs upgrading and windows need to be fixed so they can open. No AC so cross ventilation is only cooling.

Cozy condo with amazing views!

Our stay was wonderful! Paola was easy to communicate with and everything was as expected with the property. Enjoyed snorkeling and seeing lots of sea turtles on the beach! The area was very nice with lots of cool beaches and food trucks along the highway. Would absolutely stay here again when we visit Oahu again! Mahalo nui loa!

Paradise from our window

This is our 2nd time staying in this cottage. It is so relaxing and quaint. If you are looking for stress free living and beautiful views.. this is the place. We will definitely be back next year!

Birthday trip celebration

This place was perfect for our needs. Away from the crowds, and quiet (although there was construction going on, it didn’t bother us one bit). Waking up to that sunrise every day, oh my goodness, breathtaking! Easy check in and check out. The place has beach chairs, beach towels, shower towels, two beach umbrellas, surfboards and a few beach toys as well. Everything you might need at the beach. One thing we did take was a backpack cooler for the beach days away from the cabana. We loved staying here. Highly recommended.

Perfect location

This place is in the most beautiful spot. Sorkling, swimming and watching turtles meant we had entertainment on our door step. The only thing to comment on is its small for a family of 4. The description of 1br is pushing the truth a little. Its more like a studio apartment. The kitchen is small with little cupboard room. In saying that i would book again in a heart beat.

Where Do I Start

This Property is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Sunrises Everyday are just Spectacular. Going to sleep with wave sounds, waking up to a view of the ocean right from your bed or breakfast table. So much more laid back than Wakiki Area. Having a private beach to enjoy any time you want is priceless. Paola has EVERYTHING you need, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, fully stocked kitchen, bath etc. Thanks Paola for helping us celebrate our 40th Anniversary in a Spectacular Fashion.

Vacation trip

The only thing we were surprised about was the fact that it was a condo. The rest of the description was accurate and there is everything you will need in the cottage. Beautiful views and with the windows open and fans on the breeze was wonderful. We could not get the cable to work at all but we didn’t watch a ton of television anyway.

Hawaian Paradise

It is exactly how it is pictured! This was the perfect spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary and our first trip to Oahu. The beach is amazing and is perfect for snorkeling. We paid to go to another beach for another day. After it was all done, we decided that our beach was better. The decorations just add to the island feel. We will stay in Paola's property every time from now on. This location has a great breeze nearly all the time and things cool down quickly. There was really no need for air conditioning. Loved it!

Cute getaway

The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now for future guests. The main bed mattress is absolutely horrible, it’s so soft. You cannot even sit on the side without falling off. That mattress must be replaced with a proper sleeping mattress. Other than those issues, the cottage has a very secluded beach, you hear the waves all night long and feel the ocean breeze all night long and is fairly secluded. Very cute very quaint. I have a two

Gorgeous views

So, let me start by the location. It’s on the north eastern side of the island, very calm and chill area. No Waikiki crowds to deal with. When you drive into the place is not much to look at until you walk into your cottage. Easy self access with the lock box and good instructions. The views are beautiful. From this side of the island you get the sunrise view. The unit is self is very well appointed, blankets and sheets are clean and comfortable. The place had condiments and all the basics so no need to bring. In addition, there were beach towels, chairs and other stuff to use on the beach which was steps away. There is no AC.. but I have to note, the winds you get from the open windows are awesome and all you need are the fans, I didn’t mind it at all. We slept with the windows open listening to the ocean breezes. Pure Hawaii experience and splendor. I would stay again.

“A Little Slice of Paradise at a Good Price!”

In not wanting to travel off island, we decided a local beach cottage “staycation” would help us feel like we had something special to enjoy this summer & our stay did not disappoint. We felt that we got so much for our money, including a spectacular beachfront view to wake up to every morning, wonderful beach access (good sand frontage & clear calm water in the morning with fun waves at afternoon’s high tide), with a nice grassy area in between. We saw, and swam, with sea turtles every day! The cottage was cozy & well appointed, with great & easy parking, & I especially liked that there was a washer/dryer nearby to use when needed. It was great to have our towels & suits dry & ready for the beach the next day! I don’t barbecue, but I could see how having it nearby like it is would be a great feature for some. After 5 nights, we were not ready to go back to town & were fortunate to extend our stay another couple of days. Paola, the mgr, was very responsive & easy to communicate with. We loved staying in her adorable “hale” & will definitely do it again! Thank you Paola for helping us create wonderful family memories!

If you want to stay literally ON the beach, this is the place!

I hunted high and low for a house on the beach. So glad I found this one! It's the perfect little cottage and it's right on the water. Bright, beautifully colored, slightly cute/rustic, very warm and welcoming. Plenty of space for three adults (or four, if you don't mind sharing the queen bed). No AC is a win in my book; you get to experience the real Hawaii 24/7! You can sit on lawn chairs on the small strip of grass overlooking the surf, or use any of the snorkeling gear and little boogie boards to go swimming. We saw so many turtles! Take note that this cottage is in Hau'ula on the leeward (eastern) side of the island, a bit south of the famous North Shore. This was perfect for us because it's cheaper than staying on the North Shore proper, but you're only an hour outside Honolulu and still within easy driving distance of tons of great beaches: Pipeline, Sunset Beach... We rented a convertible in order to take in the scenery, which made the 30-45-minute drives absolutely stunning! So bottom line, if you want to save money: stay in Hau'ula, rent a convertible, and hit the road.

Panoramic ocean views as advertised

This cozy property (basically one large room, a small kitchen and tiny restroom) was perfect for our family of 4 with two kids under 10. Waking up with the sun, a view of palm trees and the surf from bed followed by an ocean dip before breakfast were highlights of our stay. The sand toys, snorkel gear, fins, and beach towels were great, unexpected perks. There was no outside area/patio/lanai dedicated to this unit, which would've been nice, but not needed. The only downside was our arrival. After a travel day full of delays, we got to the cottage - exhausted - around 10:00 pm...and couldn't get in. The lock box code provided in the vrbo app was incorrect and it took us many calls, texts and nearly 45 minutes to contact the property manager to get the updated code. Also, a couple of the crank windows in the main living area didn't work, but it wasn't an issue. The fans and other windows kept the cottage cool. Aside from the initial communication mishap, this was a perfect home base for our North Shore adventures!

Cute and Quiet

The apartment was cute and to us the perfect location. Easy to drive to from the airport and easy to find. It's away from the city and directly on the beach. There were beach chairs and umbrellas provided. The surrounding area and neighbors are very quiet. I would not say this listing is a cottage. When I thought of cottage I thought of a stand alone structure. There are a total of 4 apartments, together that stand apart from a larger apartment building. This wasn't a deal breaker; we were expecting a stand alone, with an area to sit outside on a patio and relax. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything we needed. I will say we over looked that there is no A/C and 2 of the 3 windows in the main room didn't open to let in that much needed air flow. Sleeping at night was okay because it did cool off. Communication with the host was a let down. I contacted the host months in advance requesting an early check-in. Host was willing to work with me. I reminded them again right before we left and the morning we landed. Instead of being transparent and telling me an early check-in was not possible or there would be an additional fee, they left me on the hook with vague answers, then no answers. That was frustrating and unnecessary It's okay to say that cannot be accommodated or there's a fee. Do not leave your client in limbo. Overall, our group of 4 was happy with the stay and made everything work. We'd stay again.

Beautiful place

Thank you Paola for letting us stay at your place, it is such a cosy cottage with absolutely everything we needed. The view is amazing, quiet place, but close to North shore fun, Kualoa ranch, Polynesian center… If we ever come back, would book it here again.
