Lots of room for an unexpected Christmas

Our family was coming in town from all over and we had a pipe burst, so we had to relocate. We were able to have an amazing Christmas in this great home. The only thing that this home needs is more pots and pans and dishes.

Nice Home for New Orleans Area

Our stay was to allow some in our group to go to LSU/UCLA football game in Baton Rouge and for others to explore New Orleans. The location worked well for both and had plenty of room for all. Check-in and check-out was very easy and Gurjit was very helpful and accommodating in assisting us.

Great place

We stayed here the night before boarding our cruise and had no issues. It was about 35 mins from cruise terminal. It’s in a gated community and peaceful.

Family cruise

Our family was meeting together a couple days together before we boarded a cruise ship for a week. This place was beautiful and immaculate. There was plenty of room and we really enjoyed to area. We will definitely keep this place in mind when we get together for our next family trip! Thank you for a great place to stay!

Family Trip

The house was amazing plenty of room for everyone. It was a great placeto come to after a long day out with the kids. Kids love fishing for the backyard. We stayed 7 days and we would have stayed longer but work happens.

Family stay

This house was perfect for our 2 families. We had 11 people and sleeping arrangements could not of been better. It was an easy drive to New Orleans.

Perfect for a large family vacation!

We have 13 in our family, 10 adults, 2 under 5 and 1 baby, and this was perfect for us! Nice open floor-plan. Big comfy couch and great beds, one of my son-in-laws wants to buy one!!! 2 good size tables to eat and play games on. Only 45 minutes from the New Orleans Audubon Zoo, Aquarium and Insectarium. 45 minutes from the MS Gulf Coast. We will definitely stay here again!

Cruise stop

This home was PERFECT! My family and I came in the day before our cruise. There were 9 of us and we really all wanted to stay together. We had plenty of room and let me say… THE BEDS ARE SOOO COMFORTABLE. Everyone took pictures of the mattress so we would not forget the brand. Everything was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and they had a few board games available. We will definitely stay again!!!

The house was beautiful but the individual is trying to scam us out of $250 for a broken window that was clearly broken from the outside of the house.

Perfect and Peaceful Family Rental

Gurjit was a top-notch host, answering our messages quickly and assisting us to extend our stay. We would love to have stayed even longer in this peaceful home. Pet-friendly, spacious, clean, fully-stocked right down to the shampoo and conditioner, this home offered us a much needed respite from a series of calamities on our trip which Hurricane Beryl cut short. The fenced yard and ducks on the lake added to the peaceful atmosphere--perfect for puppy playtime. The game loft and additional board games were a hit with our 4 kids. We ran out for beignets from PJs, came "home," and just enjoyed all this home had to offer. Thank you for a great stay.

Home was beautiful

We came to NOLA for one night before boarding our cruise. The home itself was beautiful. It looked exactly like the pictures and there was plenty of space for our group. HOWEVER, the cleaning was not great. It was dust and long spider webs all throughout and it was left over food in the master suite under the first layer of bedding. The middle room downstairs had cups from previous groups still in the bedroom. The fridge smelled horrible. Also, the host was not responsive. When we arrived, it was a game broken upstairs, I immediately messaged them to inform them about it so no extra charges would incur and got no response. AND to add insult to injury I received a bill for a stained bedsheet, and I can GURANTEE you that it's the sheet that was in the room where the bedding had not been changed prior to our stay, we slept on top of the covers because they had not been changed. I typed up my review to submit once I arrived back from my cruise and sent it to my email prior to their charges which is timestamped to prove that my review is NOT a retaliation to the charges.

great choice for friends

Had friends come in form out of town and didn't want to stay in a hotel. This was a great choice. Big house with plenty of room for everyone. Had to call the owner because I couldn't figure out the door lock. They answered the call and helped me out. Great place for small or large group. I would book the again!

Nice property

This was a large home with adequate space for our needs. While the home was clean, it was looking a bit ragged. The laminate floors were separating, there were numerous scratches/scrapes on the trim and walls, and while the furnishings were cute, the sectional was saggy and hard to get out of. It was located in a quiet subdivision and only a short drive to New Orleans which was our destination. Communication with the property owner was good. There was an issue with a smoke detector beeping upon our arrival. It was resolved in a timely manner. Great restaurants nearby. Try Phil's Marina Cafe!

Awesome house for hosting large family's.

This house is amazing! We had lots of room even with 7 adults and 2 babies. The master suite was huge and even the other bedrooms were big by comparison. The house was clean and well kept so this was nice. The fenced backyard was real nice too since we had small children and pets. The waterway behind the house had lots of ducks playing which the kids and adults all loved. The outside lighting was super nice touch as there was no dark spots around the house at night. If I had any complaints the only things I was change would be possibly better fitting linens on the master king bed and some better cable TV so when we were relaxing we could watch some of our shows. Really not a big deal. We were all very happy with this house and owner, he kept in touch with us and was super helpful when we added a day to our stay. Stay here with confidence, you will love it too!
