Enjoy a shore vacation at this open floor plan home, one block from the beach. Enjoy a day at the beach (beach passes included) with kayaks and bikes provided. Children can enjoy the splash park on the beach. BBQ with friends and family right in the back yard or eat at one of the local restaurants in walking distance. Seaside Heights is a 12 min drive.

Shore comfort was surely comfortable! Clean, neat, fresh and modern. All amenities were new and were organized in the storage shed. We didn’t get to use the kayaks and only one bike once but so nice that they were provided and next time we hope will use them!

such a great stay

close to the beach, driving distance to seaside boardwalk and the mall for rainy days, walking to rosie's for dinner.. loved every minute would absolutely stay again!

We had a fabulous vacation. Our hosts make it so easy by supplying everything you could need, from a fully stocked kitchen to all the beach essentials. The house is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was beautiful, clean and well stocked. Everything we could need or want was available. The owners were readily communicative for all questions and were very kind! Can’t wait to go back again!

Family vacation

It was awesome. This house had everything you need! Its description on line was accurate. I grew up in Ocean Gate. It truly is a little piece of heaven. The sun rises and sunsets are incredible. We will be back!!

Carefree fun on the Jersey Shore!

Our stay was wonderful. The property was impeccably clean, and fully stocked including with recreational items, kayaks, bikes, life vests, badges for beach and splash park. Light, bright and great layout. Kitchen was fabulous. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. This was the best rental our family has ever had. It’s that simple! Thanks Shelly, you rock!

The house was amazing. Very clean!!! The back yard was nice for our dog being fenced in. very close to the bay with the little beach they had. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the master bedroom mattress. It was very hard. And being woke up at 4 am with the smoke alarm chirping with a dead battery. But it was an easy fix. Would rate it an 8.5 out of 10.

Our intent for our trip was to have access to everything the Jersey shore has to offer without cramming ourselves and our 3 kids into an undersized condo. Shelly’s house in the hidden gem that is Ocean Gate delivered on that in a significant way. From the moment we walked in, my wife and I both commented how pristinely clean the house was and smelled - a very welcome start. Shelly also stocks EVERYTHING you could need. Not having to pack a beach wagon, chairs, bikes, etc was a huge burden lifted for us. You also have all the options. Ocean Gate has a quaint family oriented beach complete with outdoor movies and fitness classes while everything on the shore is just a 25 minute drive away. Overall the week exceeded our expectations in a very positive way. We all loved having the space and comfort of a clean house to come home to while enjoying everything the shore offered just a short drive away. We’d absolutely visit again and would recommend all do the same.

Do not hesitate....

Probably the most well appointed property I have ever had the pleasure of renting. The place was spotless....plenty of towels, just about any kitchen gadget you could need. In addition to the indoor flat and silverware there were paper plates, plastic utensils and plastic cups including a handy caddy to help carry it all out to the made for outdoor dining back yard. There are are plenty of board games for good old fashioned family fun. Kayaks, boogie boards, life jackets, a rolling cooler, bicycles beach chairs, beach towels all for your convenience. And the best part....your smaller canine buddy can enjoy it all with you.....there are indoor bowls, treats, an outdoor water bowl, a securely fenced back yard with some dog toys....even a nice long lead to attach to your pup if they are an escape artist. Ceiling fans in every room.....pleny of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, ........Shelly's attention to detail and pride in her property shine brightly. And she was so easy and pleasant to communicate with....in case you couldnt tell, I loved my stay!

The property was wonderful and fully equipped with whatever you would need, except food of course. Walking distance to the bay, but watch out for the jellyfish. Also, within driving distance of many beaches and Atlantic City.

This house was amazing! It had everything we needed at our finger tips. It was also in a great location and close to the beach. The house was roomy and we felt comfortable with 5 adults, three kids, and two dogs.
