'Clearwater' is a beautiful 2 bedroom/ 2 bath duplex that is convenient to both the Atlantic and the Gulf so you can be fishing or diving either side in just minutes. This property is located on prestigeous Duck Key right next to Hawk's Cay on a crystal clear free flowing canal with water so clear and pristine you can see the bottom all the way across the canal. Clearwater is newly renovated and is on a double lot with a huge pool, tiki hut, large deck, fish cleaning table,and 120 ft of canal frontage so there is plenty of room to dock even the largest of boats. The oversize lot also provides plenty of room to park multiple vehicles and trailers. This unit sleeps up to 8 with a king bed in the master bedroom, two queens in the second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Amentities include updated kichen with new cabinets, new appliances, and granite countertops, wireless internet, Tvs in each bedroom as well as a flat screen HDTV in the living room, bathrooms with all new cabinets and fixtures, all new mattresses with fresh linens, gas grill, and bait freezer..

This property is also within walking distance to casual and upscale dining, deli, ice cream shop, shopping, 2 marinas, convenience store, and bait and tackle shop, There are also numerous offshore and flats charters running right out of Hawk's Cay marina. Other nearby activities include snorkeling, parasailing, and boat, kayaking and jetskii rentals. Sombrero Beach, Bahia Honda State park, and Key West are all within driving distance.

'Clearwater' provides an affordable location for your family trip to the Florida Keys. You will not find a better value anywhere in the area.

If somehow the host could have calmed down the wind for 4 days, it would have been perfect! Everything was as advertised, clean and great. Pool was very nice!

We really enjoyed staying here

We enjoyed the beautiful pool, eating on the lanai, and being on the canal. We had a great stay and we hope to come back soon.

Just as pictured. Room to park boat trailer and Easy because the road dead ends with a circle turn around in front of the house. Easy and close boat ramp at Hawks Cay Resort 65 fee to put in and 65 out. Current is quite strong in canal. Always dock against current if possible. Saw fish, lobster, and a nurse shark from the dock. Pool was relaxing (shared with other side of duplex).

Loved our stay! Cozy, furniture was well laid out and worked well for 3 adults, tall teenager and two dogs. Quiet at the end of a cup-de-sac and convenient to everything. My son was able to fish in the canal and caught a ton of different fish: mangrove snapper, parrot fish, sea hare, nurse shark. We also saw a manta ray swim through. The adults could lounge by the pool while my son fished with the two really nice boys next door. We hope to come back soon!

Great place right in the middle of it all!

This rental is just an hour from Key West, and it is the perfect spot. The pool was great, watching the fish and the birds in the canal made for a relaxing stay. Close to everything you need yet far enough away that it is quiet and not crowded. Ease of access to the state parks, too!

Second time and loved it even more:)

This was our second time staying at this property and we loved it even more than last time, had both sides rented for our family and my sisters family, pool was great, safe quiet neighborhood, plenty of space since the weather was wonderful we spent most of our time outside, would definitely stay again!

A GREAT RETREAT

Our family rented both sides of this unit. The pool is large enough for our entire family, the boat dock was perfect for our fishing adventures, and the house had everything that we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay, again.

Great place

Nice house on a nice clean canal. Walking distance to hawks cay where we swam with dolphins. 30 minutes to marathon rented a 27 foot boat had no problems docking. I will stay here again for sure

Great place to stay!

We love Duck Key and have stayed before but in a larger house with multiple families. This time was just the 4 of us which is my husband and I with our 15 & 17 year old kids. The dock was great fishing (and swimming) and the pool was amazing. All of the pots and pans, sheets and towels were provided and we did laundry while we stayed. (Nice laundry machines) we would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, end of street. Canal for fishing was great! Clean! Screened porch was nice option on rainy days. Would return!

Good stay

Unit clean and tidy, sleeper couch is worn out and the pool was not maintained until the day before we left. The property manager said they just changed Pool company and on the last day of our stay it was clean and sparkling. I would stay here again we just would have liked to use the pool sooner. I paid extra for a pool and was disappointed it was green although it was cleaned before we left.

July 4th week 2019

We were pleasantly surprised with cleanliness. Walked in and the place was cool. AC ran 23.5 hours a day but was sufficient. You could walk in from being steamy outside and instantly feel the moisture dry. Had fun fishing off the sea wall. Pool was great. Some boaters had trouble with current in canal. Really strong at times. If u like a soft squishy bed you will like these. We were very blessed and fortunate with our neighbors. Being a duplex u never no. Ours was very good.

Beautiful location

We had a lovely time. Very good communication with owner and property manager. We came during the holidays and there were some cleaning issues and missing supplies but the owner and property manager were very responsive and took care of everything quickly even though it was a holiday. The house is an older property so it has typical wear and tear of an older rental but there was plenty of space for a family of four and the pool and landscaping were pristine. This rental does not have a dish washer and it’s just not fun to hand wash everything. Bring your own dish scrubber unless you want to use a used one from previous guests. The rental rate is really driven more by the exceptionally beautiful location, not the overall quality of this rental property.

Excellent and quiet location in the middle Keys, perfect for fishing

We are a family of 4, with a primary goal of fishing in the Keys. We found Duck Key to be wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The highlights of this property are: 120 feet of canal waterfront (this is huge!), large pool and great outdoor space under the tiki hut and in the lanai. It’s on a cul-du-sac, with plenty of parking. Open living, dining, kitchen with great views of the canal. Excellent matresses. The master bath is cozy. The main bath is large. Being in the Middle Keys is great, we enjoyed this Keys from Largo to West and felt like we were in the best spot. We rented a boat from Marathon and it was great . Our duplex neighbor (this is a shared property) was awesome, had trailered his boat from home and we still had a ton of canal space with the two boats tied up. This was their third straight year in this property! We used the grill and the bait freezer that’s outside. Ed, the local property manager is awesome! Great resource and caretaker! We would stay here again!

We had an amazing time with my family and our friends. We rented the side closest to the pool and our friends rented the other side. It was really nice to dip into pool after a day of lobstering in salt water. Dock had plenty of room for our 27ft boat. House was clean a/c was cold bed was comfortable. We had a pleasure meeting Eddie the maintenance man he was a very nice guy. Thank you for sharing your home with my family and friends.

One of the best places to stay in Marathon!

Once again this place did not disappoint. Even though we were here for hurricane Ian it was still a very enjoyable stay. The place is always super clean with everything you need! Lots of fish, manatee and iguana to entertain us. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Always beautiful scenery.

Great family/friends getaway

We enjoyed having the pool after long days on the boat. Plenty of space for parking. We had a 31’ boat and we had plenty of space.

Great property!! The pool was great for our group. We had friends on the other side so we had the entire property. Plenty of parking and great dockage!! Would stay again.
