House is a super close walk through the woods to the lake which makes it perfect. Great layout and features. We will be back.

Fantastic lakehouse! Beautiful layout with bedrooms on multiple floors along with a great basement layout. Everything was very clean and well stocked with supplies especially in the kitchen with pots, pans, knives, serving ware, etc. Owners made kayaks and paddle boards available which were fantastic. The walk down to the water is steep but the views down there are amazing.

The house was clean and well appointed, We absolutely love the open floor plan of the upstairs. Lisa, the host, communicated well, check in and check out was easy, and the house guidebook explained everything from places to eat and go, to how to work the grill and coffee maker properly. This is a nice touch! We really also enjoyed the peace and quiet the property afforded.

We loved our stay! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We kayaked to Burgess Falls with Kayaking Adventures of Tennessee- definitely recommend if you have time during your stay.

Great house that fit our needs very well. On a beautiful lake with a strenuous path to the lake however there is no lakeview from the house.

Beautiful home, very spacious and modern. Ideal for kids b/c you can bunk them on the first floor and adults can enjoy themselves on the top level. The trail down to the lake is well mapped out.

Great floor plan!

Excellent stay with our family celebrating the 4th of July. After a day on the water, this spacious new home provides a wonderful place to grill out, enjoy the hot tub & play games. Everything you need!

We had a great few days at Shoreside Retreat. We’ve rented multiple times. It’s always perfect. Super clean, plenty of space and everything you need. Can’t wait to go back!

Lakeside Serenity

The home is absolutely gorgeous and pristine, and was perfect for a low-key gathering of friends. Plenty of space for 3-4 couples and our children. The snow on the last day of our stay was so beautiful and an added bonus. The house is large and open, yet cozy and inviting at the same time. It was not the right time of year to enjoy the water, but we look forward to returning and getting out on the kayaks and paddle boards.

Spacious Modern Retreat

Great space. Modern house in rustic setting. Walk down to lake is short but steep and woodsy. Totally fine for people who enjoy hiking and the outdoors. Plenty of amenities on hand at house. Scenic and serene. Any questions the host was very prompt with responses

We had the BEST time at Shoreside Retreat! We truly could not have asked for a better experience. The home was incredible, communication was flawless, and the lake and scenery were spectacular.My best friend and I brought our combined families for an unplugged weekend before school, and this was the perfect place. Everyone had a comfortable bed, the kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom supplies were plentiful, games were stocked, and they even provided beach towels! The owners clearly thought of everything.The paddleboards were the perfect addition to the weekend. The kids spent hours on the lake, and we even had an air hockey tournament! The best part? Even without their phones, the kids wanted to stay longer, which says everything!The trail down to the lake isn't bad, but coming back up is definitely a workout, so keep that in mind. It didn't stop our crew from having an amazing time, though!I had read reviews saying the home was difficult to find, but GPS took us right there. The owners also sent detailed turn-by-turn directions ahead of time, just in case.We chose to stay at the house all weekend, but if you want to explore, they provide a very thorough list of restaurants, shops, and activities in the area.I cannot say enough about this beautiful, thoughtfully designed home. You can tell how much care went into making sure guests have everything they need. Shoreside Retreat gave our families the perfect unplugged weekend!

Lovely contemporary lake house

Lovely, nearly brand new lake house in a beautiful hilly, wooded area on Center Hill Lake. The house is clean and comfortable, and bathrooms and bedrooms are clean, well stocked, and comfortable as well. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes, flatware, glasses, cups, etc. Since it's a very new home, there isn't the stockpile of seasonings and condiments that some rentals accumulate over time, so bring your own if you plan on baking/cooking. House is also multi-floors, and built into a hillside, so there is definitely stair-climbing necessary to get around. Nothing impossible, but would be difficult for elderly, or someone with mobility issues. Lisa is a great host and was very responsive in answering all our questions. Highly recommend!

Lake close by is rare at Center Hill - and it's only a short pretty walk from this house! Host very responsive and decor of the home is very pretty and modern. Well equipped kitchen as well.

This is a beautiful and special place! We had our family in town with kids from ages 6 months to 18. Something for everyone and so nice and relaxing! We will be back, the hosts were wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here! The open kitchen and living area was wonderful for cooking together, watching the World Cup, and playing games. Having access to the lake was so much fun for our kids.
