Enchanted Oaks is a beautiful, custom cottage perfectly located with easy access to Highway 1 and all that the beautiful Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Five minutes from downtown Carmel, world class restaurants & stunning beaches but a world away from the crowds is this perfectly appointed, detached house surrounded by peaceful wooded views, privacy and nature.

The home is appointed with dark hardwood floors, stone tile bathroom with walk in shower, walk-in closet & gorgeous forest views from every room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a simple breakfast or an elegant meal. There is a gas grill on the large wrap around deck. Large windows overlook a small wooded canyon with ample privacy.

There is one bedroom with a queen size bed with high quality linens.

A 300 square foot wrap around deck, to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine. Pets are welcome with owner approval.

Enchanted Oaks is the perfect place to take advantage of all that this exciting area has to offer. Stay with us for a unique and relaxing vacation experience.

Truly Enchanted

No words can do this home justice. It truly is enchanted. The location is perfect and the home is cozy and a perfect size. If you are looking for a real home away from home then look no further. Kari is a fantastic host who made every effort to make our stay the best experience possible.

Lovely place

Kari was extremely accommodating. Communication was easy and fast. The cottage felt like a little slice of Heaven. Quiet, private and well appointed. I sat on the deck with my morning coffee and thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels. The location is great. A short drive to downtown Carmel, Pebble Beach and Monterey. We were sad to leave.

Quiet & Peaceful

The "Enchanted Oaks Cottage" met all our expectations, and we would certainly consider staying at this property again in the future. The property was comfortable, quiet & peaceful, pet friendly, suited our needs, and the location-- proximity to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey attractions, restaurants & shopping-- was exceptional.

beautiful house and good location

loved the house. nice walk to nearest shops. owner was very responsive and had no issues. only cons was that the wi-fi was not good if more than 2 devices were connected. otherwise had a wonderful stay and we all loved it.

Wrap around deck and nature abound

When we arrived, there were three deer in the front yard. Fun place to stay! It is close to everything. It was very nice. We had a great time.

Carmel Vacation

For the most part this is an amazing property - beautiful space, amazing location, beautifully appointed. The one drawback for me is a very steep driveway that needs to be navigated coming and going. This is not mentioned in the description - and should be. Prospective users should know that all-wheel drive is preferred and that a large vehicle would be almost impossible. I was terrified every time I had to drive up or down the driveway. I'm not sure I would have selected this space - as fabulous as it is - if I had known about the driveway.

Amazing Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Kari’s guest cottage. The location was great and close to shopping and the beach. The kitchen was spacious for cooking and we loved the wrap around deck. Kari was quick to respond to texts and very accommodating. Would be happy to stay at the cottage again.

Cozy Place Conveniently Located

The place was exactly as advertised. Kari was a great host. The location was perfect… in a quiet neighborhood, but close to downtown Carmel, Monterey, and Point Lobos. The place was very clean, well decorated, and has a nice deck for sitting outside and listening to the birds and/or reading and eating. We’d stay here again in a second.

Great location, friendly hosts, comfy and cozy home

Easy access to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, Carmel Valley, Monterey, Seaside, and more! Cozy quarters with a fantastic porch. Felt like you were at a remote cabin but with easy access to amenities. Great, friendly host who gave excellent recommendations!

Lovely home!

Had a wonderful time, really beautiful and convenient location and incredibly quiet. Comfortable bed and shower. Wi-Fi was a little spotty but it wasn’t really a big deal. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay

My husband and I love this place, quiet and private. The place was ready for us to enjoy, clean and spotless. The host (Kari) is a very gracious host. Great in communicating our arrival and checking in to see if we were needed anything.

Wonderful 30th anniversary trip

Fantastic Holiday Getaway

This beautiful cottage was the perfect getaway for spending Christmas in Carmel. The location was an 5 minute drive to Carmel by the Sea and about 10 minutes to Monterey. The cottage was super clean, easy to find, and very private. We would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat!

Great get away in the woods close to Carmel

We have stayed here before and like it. Its very comfortable and private. They are pet friendly. Our only complaint was the fireplace that heats the house was broken. We did have a heater in bedroom but did turn the oven on to take the chill off when we first showed up. They did have a small heater in the living room but it didn't really heat up the large room without alittle help.

A beautiful and comfortable haven

We really enjoyed the beauty of this apartment. The many windows brought the lovely outdoors right into the inside. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. We loved being close enough to visit our son and the in-laws (in Carmel by the Sea) while also having privacy and quiet time in the Carmel Knolls.

Great spot

Perfect spot for a short getaway, built on the edge of a ravine overlooked by the deck. Birds everywhere. Quick drive to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Just right

Perfect location and very comfortable, attractive and private little house. Within 3-4 miles of most things (Point Lobos, Carmel Village, Monterey, etc.).
