The Space:

This apartment sleeps 2 guests comfortably in one bedroom with a queen bed dressed in quality linens. The full bathroom includes a tiled shower/tub combo, single vanity with mirror, complimentary toiletries, plush towels, and hairdryer. 🛁



The living room features a plush sofa, gas fireplace for warmth on cooler evenings, and a smart TV with streaming access. WiFi is included throughout the apartment.



The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances: refrigerator, oven, stovetop, and microwave. Stone countertops and white cabinetry are stocked with cookware, dishware, and utensils. A high-top dining table seats 2.



The private garden patio is surrounded by native plants and offers a peaceful spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation in the fresh ocean air. 🌿

The Neighborhood:

You're a 10-minute walk to Carmel Beach, where the Pacific meets powdery white sand and rugged coastline. The walk takes you through the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea village, passing dozens of art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants.



🍽️ La Bicyclette is a 5-minute walk for French-inspired cuisine. Vesuvio is a 6-minute walk for Italian dining and wine. Numerous cafes and restaurants line Ocean Avenue within easy walking distance.



🌲 Point Lobos State Natural Reserve is a 5-minute drive south on Highway 1, offering dramatic coastal trails, hidden coves, sea lion viewing, and some of the most photographed landscapes on the California coast.



🏛️ Carmel Mission Basilica, a historic 18th-century landmark with beautiful gardens, is a 10-minute walk from the apartment.



Carmel River State Beach is 2 miles south for additional beach access and bird watching. The village is extremely walkable, and you can leave your car parked for your entire stay if you choose.



Getting Around:

📍 Carmel-by-the-Sea is located on the Monterey Peninsula along Highway 1.

From Monterey Regional Airport: 15-minute drive (8 miles) via CA-1 South and Highway 68.

From San Francisco: 2-hour drive south on US-101 and CA-1.

From San Jose: 90-minute drive via Highway 101 South and CA-1 South.

Pebble Beach and the famous 17-Mile Drive entrance is a 5-minute drive north. Big Sur's dramatic coastline begins 10 miles south on Highway 1.

The village center is highly walkable. Most guests park once and explore on foot for their entire stay.



Other Things to Note:

• Carmel-by-the-Sea requires 29-night satys. To avoid taxes from Monterey County, please book for 31-nights.

• Pets: Not allowed — a fine will be assessed at checkout if evidence of a pet is found

• Washer/Dryer: Not available

• Parking: 1 car maximum

• Utilities: A $300 utility deposit is required before check-in. Actual utility costs will be deducted from this deposit within 21 days of departure. Our Customer Care team will coordinate payment of the deposit.

• Monthly Stays: For reservations of multiple months, a mid-stay cleaning (at guest's expense) is required every 30 days. Please contact Customer Care after booking to schedule cleaning(s) and arrange payment.

• This is a lower-level unit. There may be occupants in the upstairs unit during your stay.

• There may be periods where shorter than 30-day booking windows are available for marketing purposes. These may be converted besed on eligibility.
