Great getaway just outside Birmingham

The property had lots of amenities, ample space for the family to relax & enjoy time together. The scenery was gorgeous well situated on Buck Creek. The train tracks are close by though and you should be prepared that you will hear it throughout the night but ear plugs were provided and our kids enjoyed it. The spa was clean and warm with cooler temps we really appreciated that detail.

This was our second time staying at this property. I have family in the area and this property is very convenient and fits our family of 5’s needs. It’s clean and spacious. The outside area is beautiful although the weather kept us from enjoying it on this trip. Our only issue on this visit was that the unit seemed to be lacking some silverware (basic forks & spoons- not enough for 5 ppl) and limited towels. Oddly we couldn’t find any bath mats so we had to use towels which meant even more limited towels. We did a load of towels with the one detergent pack that comes with the property but then didn’t have any left to run the towels asked at check out. Other than that everything was adequate. I shared my issues at checkout and I think they will be addressed for future travelers. We will certainly return. Train is loud but we hear it and just keep sleeping. No biggie for us.

Great property but a little loud

Property was wonderful. It was 3 br, 2 b with loft. There was a wellstocked kitchen. There were 2 rocking chairs on balcony overlooking Buck Creek. With a 3 bedroom unit, more that 2 chairs on balcony would have been nice. Property also had good outdoor area with hot tub, picnic tables, swings and putting green overlooking creek. There is one drawback. Nowhere in listing did it mention the railroad tracks directly across the street. Came through multiple times during the night. Unless you sleep like the dead or love earplugs, it's going to be a long night.
