Great House

Tish is so easy to work with- everything is exactly as described online. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. This was our second time staying here and won’t be the last.

Peaceful relaxation!

Blue Wave was absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. It has everything one could need for a comfortable stay. The porch has plenty of room to enjoy the views and ample space to stay out of the sun. We loved our stay at blue wave and look forward to staying again.

Wedding guest getaway

I can’t say enough amazing things about our stay at blue wave. Tish, the owner, was wonderful with communication. When we arrived, the home was super clean and stocked with all the basics you would receive at a hotel, plus some. The house and view were perfect! We will definitely be back!!

Great Property!

Great rental property ... five stars. Property is very clean and comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. The deck on the front was the best part! It was great for watching the ocean and enjoying an outside coffee / meal. Half the deck is covered which is extra nice for shade from the hot sun. Small pool in the back was great to cool off in, when we wanted something different from the ocean. The outdoor shower was very nice to rinse off after walking back from the beach. Very easy walk to the beach! Just a short walk across the street (3 minute walk) and beach is high quality with plenty of space to spread out. Island is small and only a few restaurants but we had all we needed. We enjoyed the seafood and pizza restaurants, the ice cream place and the small grocery store. Owners were very responsive, when we needed them, which was only once. Wifi did have an issue when we got there but the owners quickly engaged the provider, and the provider came out quickly and installed a new Wifi router, and then everything worked great in the wifi. Netflix subscription is included in the rental so we watched / streamed multiple free movies and shows. Note - there is not any cable or local TV channels (just the Netflix).

Perfect Visit

The Blue Wave is perfect! The location is superb. We loved sitting on the front deck, watching dolphins by day and stars by night. The interior of this home is lovely and comfortable. It is very well stocked for cooking and serving. The amenities of SGI are just a short drive, walk or in our case, bike ride away. The beach access from the house is awesome. We made the most of our short visit and hope to be back! SGI is our kind of Florida and this home clicks all of the boxes! Thank you, Tish!

Spring Break

This was our second year in a row staying at Blue Wave for our spring break trip. We absolutely love this house. It works so well for our needs, especially with two teenagers. The location allows for us to bike around the island, getting to shops and restaurants easily. The house has everything we need, which is great as well. We love the ability to walk across the road and to the beach. We are even hoping to be back next year for spring break!

Girls weekend

We had the most relaxing and fun time at Blue Wave. The house was roomie and clean. The view was amazing! I stayed there last year during the same weekend and couldnt wait to come back this year. We love St. George Island and will definitely be back. Oh and Tish was awesome with checking in with me before our trip and allowing us early checkin. Great host!!

Comfy Cozy

This home is so comfortable from the beds to the living spaces! The combined kitchen and living area with light colors creates a warm and inviting space and is the heart of the home. Everything was clean and well stocked. The decor was up to date and stylish. We would absolutely stay here again especially if the view remains the same.
