What a great stay. Already looking forward to coming back! The cottage was super clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and well-located. The host is an excellent communicator. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful stay at the cottage. The little details and touches made the stay so special. The cottage is set up and stocked for everything you could possibly need from honey for your tea and treats & poop bags for your dog! We especially appreciated the ability to charge our electric car each night and not worry about finding charging stations during the day. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day and the beds and showers were fabulous! Location can’t be beat, just a few minutes from the beautiful lake and downtown Black Mountain. One of the best rentals we have had. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Wonderful house in the mountains. Highly recommend staying here! Our dog Bear loved waking up to rolling around in the backyard. The space was clean and welcoming. The hottub was lovely and the neighborhood was charming. Quick drive into town and close to some great hiking trails.

This cottage was perfect for a last minute getaway. It was so clean and neat. There is everything you need available. Though we no longer have a fur baby, this place has everything set up for dogs you can think of. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into this rental. Black Mountain is a great town with so many restaurants and shops. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

Great place to stay and set up to bring dogs with also. 2 bedrooms with 2 baths attached to bedrooms. Kitchen set up to be able to cook in easily though cottage close to town of Black Mountain that has great restaurants. Cottage also has washer and dryer which was helpful. Also has hot tub which we used one evening. Fenced in yard for dogs. Very comfortable up to house up to 4 people.

Terrific Place for 2 Couples

We met our friends there for a 3 day stay. We have been dear friends as couples for almost 40 years and now live in TX and NC. This was the perfect place to get together for a short visit. The furnishings are first class and the walk-in showers were perfect for elderly visitors. Close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway, plus great dining in Black Mountain. The owner was very responsive to questions and any self-caused issues. I Recommend this place highly.

Wonderful Cottage

We had a lovely stay at Red Fox Cottage. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. We didn’t get to utilize the hot tub or the outdoor space but it looks like a great place to hang out and relax. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved that each bedroom had an en suite. And most importantly, it was quiet. And no light pollution. Perfect. We made an apple pie while there and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We are excited to go back!
