We loved our visit. Having three separate suites was perfect for us and allowed some personal time for everyone. It’s a great location, mostly quiet. And the house just offered an experience of old and new being blended together very nicely. We would certainly use the property again.

The Painted House is a beautiful residence in a very quiet neighborhood. Our group of 8 ladies absolutely lived our experience! It's location is just minutes from downtown St. Charles. Also, several of us enjoyed walking the gorgeous campus of Lindenwood. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!

Beautiful historic home with easy walking access to Lindenwood University, so it was really a great fit for our family gathering to celebrate the Senior Day activities with our student! Everyone was thrilled to experience this unique home and have it feel so comfortable and welcoming. Kitchen was great, well equipped and clean. Beds were very comfortable and we were able to use the porch swing too. Highly recommend staying here.

Family get together@ the Painted House

Seven members of our family from Texas, Arkansas and California stayed there to watch the Lindenwood University Homecoming football game as our Grandson plays for the Lions. It was a perfect home with plenty of bedrooms and just a very homey feel. It was laid out perfectly with large kitchen and Dining area as well as comfortable main sitting room. Perfect in every way. Highly recommend a stay there!!

The Perfect Painted House

My family and I stayed at the Painted House for 3 amazing nights! All 8 of us absolutely LOVED our stay at the Painted House. MJ we’re great hosts. You can tell they literally thought meticulously about every single detail a person could or would need for a comfortable stay at their home. Each room/suite was equipped with a kitchen, sitting room & full private bathroom, which gave us enough space to spend time together as well as have have our own space when needed. This was key to having a great trip! The other nice touches were that we didn’t need to go to the store for anything extra outside of snacks and drinks for the fridge. Although, MJ did provide a few drinks upon check in also and that was super sweet because we didn’t need to go anywhere once we checked in. The house had all the amenities beyond what hotels can provided. I think I loved the extra fan the most lol. The location was PERFECT! They had amazing food spots only walking distance from the property. There’s also a gas station on the corner to fill up or grab something on the way out into the city. We loved the Streets of St. Charles shopping center about 8 mins a way, which had a ton of restaurants and a movie theater. This place couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs & they accommodated us with any special asks as long as we communicated and followed the rules! Thank you MJ!!!!! You guys rock!

This house worked out great for our family. The “kids” are all adults and appreciated having their own space. Everything from the check-in process to leaving on the last day was smooth! We appreciated the small comfort details that welcomed us into the home.
