Jesse Cooper Cottage-Overlooking SWU & Downtown GT
Summary:
Welcome to the Jesse Cooper Cottage in one of Georgetown's oldest neighborhoods! Enjoy breathtaking sunsets overlooking Southwestern University and Downtown Georgetown and the comforts of a clean country escape while being just a mile from the Historic Georgetown Square. Fully stocked Kitchen with Keurig coffee maker & pods, high-end comfy sheets and bed, washer & dryer, and plenty of lounging space. We can't wait to host you! We have weekly and monthly discounts built in for longer stays!
The Space:
With a full living room and kitchen, and completely separate bedroom, the space feels large for a one bedroom. There's a workspace in the bedroom, queen bed, and the kitchen/living is great for relaxing. Full sized washer and dryer in the unit as well. The bathroom is on the smaller side, and the shape does not provide a lot of space for toiletries, but it's still very functional!
Guest Access:
You're allowed to access all areas inside the house.
The Neighborhood:
This is an extremely unique neighborhood and feels "off the beaten path" even though it's very close to downtown. It's one of the oldest "neighborhoods" in Georgetown. The road is a little bumpy right now as they're planning to re-pave it. Before you get to the property, you'll pass a couple homes that need some maintenance, some brand new, and just a mixture of properties. Everyone is very friendly.
Getting Around:
There's plenty of parking on the driveway in front of the house, (feels like the side of house as your driving up. Just make sure not to block the driveway for the house on the left.
Other Things to Note:
One of the oldest "neighborhoods" in Georgetown. The road is a little bumpy right now as they're planning to re-pave it. This property has 3 houses on it but all are very private and separate. This property is on the far right
*Please have fun, but treat our home as if it was yours! :)
Interaction with Guests:
There's a chance you might see another guest pulling up, or maybe across the fence in the backyard, but other than that, you likely won't see anyone else. We live in Georgetown, and are downtown a lot for work/social/fun. If you run into any issues, just let us know and we will get it taken care of. We very much care about your experience and want to make sure your stay is great!
