It was our first time visiting Colorado Springs. David was a responsive, helpful host. We loved the house! It had everything we needed, lots of linens, two bedrooms, comfortable furnishings. And the location was perfect. It was on a quiet street close to downtown Manitou Springs, a short drive to Garden of the Gods, and Old Colorado City. We'll definitely book this house again on our next trip to CO Springs. Highly recommend the property and the host.

Beautiful property and great location. The host was excellent, super helpful at every step of the way. This is an extremely well cared from older property with gorgeous furniture and thoughtful design elements. There was enough room for two adults and two adult size children (the living room couch is large enough to sleep comfortably).

Property was clean, spacious, well priced, and just a short walk to the heart of manitous shopping and dining district. Yet for being so close it was located on a very quiet street. Check in was easy and owner very responsive. If I am back in the area I will be looking for this property first.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was exceptionally clean and I really appreciate that. The linens were bright white and clean also. The location was excellent and not busy, nice and quiet. We went down town often to eat and frequently went to Garden of the Gods.

The home was super cute, and cozy. It had everything we could possibly need and the location was ideal. We walked into town, to the free shuttle bus that took us to the Cog Wheel Train and just down a few blocks was a mineral springs fountain we used to fill up our water bottles.

This beautiful little place was an absolute delight! It was so clean, had everything available for all needs. The Host responded within minutes and was always so helpful! We traveled here from Virginia and Kansas and was so impressed with the beauty and kindness we received everywhere! I recommend this little town and definitely this little cottage for your next vacation!!

The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to have a place to park and the availability of a laundry. The cottage is a little old and the floors are creek a bit so it's hard to not make noise in the mornings. Convenient but just enough away to be very nice.

Wonderful location and comfortable home!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy home! It was in a great location to walk or catch the shuttle into downtown Manitou Springs, comfortable king-size beds, well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing living room! We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Overall the house was just a advertised. It was clean and easily accessible. We had a few issues with the property. The air conditioners were not effective. We could not regulate the temperature. Both put out air that was too cold or not cold at all. The creaky floor, which has been mentioned before, was a problem. As soon as one person got up, the whole group was awake due to the noise. It was very loud and annoying.

Thank you for your feedback. As with many homes in Manitou Springs, this is an older, historic property, built approximately 100 years ago. The home still retains many of its original features, including the original wood flooring, which is clearly visible in the listing photos. With original hardwood floors in a home of this age, some creaking is to be expected and is part of the character of an older property. We understand that this may not suit every guest’s preference. Guests who are particularly sensitive to creaking floors or the characteristics that come with historic homes may be more comfortable choosing a newer construction property. Regarding the air conditioning, we wish you had contacted us during your stay so we could have addressed the issue immediately. We take maintenance concerns seriously and would have been happy to troubleshoot the units or send someone to inspect them.

We picked the perfect house for the week. It had everything we needed. The house had a fantastic water heater. They even provided a food and water bowl for my dog. Everything we wanted to do was within 5-10 min drive. I especially loved the walking trail with a stream right across the street. We saw deer in the backyard everyday. The host checked in to see if we had everything we needed. We are very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location to town and activities. Close to free shuttle to the mountain and Incline. Walking distance to a hot springs spa and to downtown Manitou for shopping, coffee and dining options.
