Completely renovated bunkhouse apartment only 1 mile off I-25. Rest and relax in the country on our farm with chickens, ducks, and horses. Ample room for parking if you’re pulling a trailer. Only 15 minutes to Longmont, 35 minutes to Denver and Boulder and a straight shot to Estes park and Rocky Mountain National Park via hwy 66. Bedroom boasts a Cal-King bed with new mattress. Living room has a large couch and can accommodate a full size blow up mattress (provided) if needed. Kitchen is fully furnished with eat in kitchen. Full size Washer and Dryer available as well as included Wi-Fi and internet. Relax in front of the fireplace after a full day of activities or open the window and listen to the crickets and birds chirp.

I can't recommend the Bunkhouse enough! Penny was a fantastic and responsive host, and she kindly worked with me through many VRBO hiccups. The property was clean, welcoming, and exactly what we were looking for while we were in town for a wedding at Planet Bluegrass. We loved all the animals on the property, and even got to enjoy some farm fresh chicken eggs! Thank you so much, Penny! We'd love to come back!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our restful stay at the bunkhouse at Penny Lane. The purpose of our travel was to visit our family in nearby Firestone and we needed to travel with our small dog. The location was perfect, and our grandchildren enjoyed feeding apples to the host's horses on the property. Penny and Chuck were very friendly and even provided us with fresh eggs from their chickens on the property. Also, there was a new dog toy for my dog waiting for us upon our arrival.

My mom and I enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The property was so great! The cats and chickens and horses made life great! We fed the horses apples and ate fresh eggs! Yum! Be sure to take spices etc for cooking. There were a lot of flies so maybe a fly stip or swatter. It is the country so we should have prepared ourself. Thank you so much Penny and Chuck!

Penny and Chuck were so welcoming! We had an absolutely lovely stay here. It was so cozy and homey and decked out with everything we could have possibly needed. We loved getting to pet the horses and kitties and the location was also perfect for everything that we wanted to do during our stay!

Great place to stay while in the Longmont area. Close to a lot of places, but also secluded in very peaceful. Very comfortable and Penny was amazing to work with.

The host was great and very accommodating! The bunkhouse is in great condition and all the amenities were nice and well taken care of. My dogs enjoyed the outside space and looking at the chickens :)

The Bunkhouse was perfect for us. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the surrounding area including Horsetooth Reservoir, Estes Park and Fort Collins.The Bunkhouse was extremely comfortable and well provisioned. The setting was very pleasant with plenty of elbow room, easy parking for our large vehicle, and pleasant views in all directions!We enjoyed getting to know Penny and Chuck. They were easily accessible with information and local knowledge and recommendations.The fresh eggs were a nice bonus!John and Becky from South Carolina.

We stayed here for a wedding we attended, and the location was perfect. Check-in was easy, communication was clear and timely, and the hosts left us fresh eggs, which was a nice touch. The bunkhouse is spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed having it for downtime during our busy wedding weekend.

Phenomenal property! Penny was such a great communicative host. She was very responsive and open with any questions. The property was gorgeous and the animals were such a great bonus! It didn't feel like we had even left home - aside from the beauty of the property and the area! The four of us loved the stay and hope to come back!

Great Property and Even Better Hosts!

Penny and Chuck are wonderful hosts! Made me feel very welcome yet provided privacy. Property was perfect for me. Had all the connivences of home and was very cozy. I would highly recommend. Fresh farm raised eggs were a tasty treat for sure!

The bunkhouse was perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed and didn’t have to go shop for anything other than a few groceries! Penny and Chuck were excellent, caring host and we would definitely stay again! Being out in the country was so peaceful and yet we were close enough to Longmont which was very convenient for us. We would rate the Bunkhose as a 10 if we could!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bunkhouse. It was a great location when visiting family for a reunion. The home was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We even had fresh farm eggs in the fridge! Penny was quick to respond to any inquiries. We loved feeding apples to the horses and getting a small feel of farm life! Will stay again on our next visit to the area.

I am a lifelong resident of Colorado, born in Boulder and raised near Niwot. I recently retired from a 32 year career as a physical therapist. My husband and I have two adult daughters and a son in law who live in Durango, CO. Chuck and I live on a small farm (PennyLane) with a plethora of animals including 3 horses, 2 dogs and a couple of cats.

We have lived on this farm for 24 years, and it feels like a piece of paradise away from all the hustle and bustle. We are only 1 mile from I-25 so it is ideal for getting to, and away from the city on a major thoroughfare. We are surrounded by farm land and have few neighbors.

The Bunkhouse is very private even though our home is located on the property. There is ample parking for those pulling trailers. The central location of The Bunkhouse is perfect for those who want to see the sights that are abundant on the front range of Colorado, while affording peace and quiet when you return home!
