The house is absolutely charming and full of character! Plenty of room for multiple guests and great kitchen to cook meals together. The house was very clean and the host provided great communication. Super location right off of Main Street in Fredericksburg!

Perfect layout of rooms for the 5 of us (2 couples and a single friend). We loved the outdoor areas, rocking chairs on the front porch, fire pit area. Walkable to both ends of main street. Comfy beds, large rooms.

Perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy our anniversary with both of my sisters and their husbands. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. We loved sitting out by the fireplace with a glass of wine after long days enjoying the hill country.

Fantastic house!

Being from the Texas Hill Country, it brought back great childhood memories. Large rooms and great kitchen. Awesome back yard.

Crockett and Creek B&B

This lovely historic home fits our group perfectly, which is one of the reasons we returned to this specific rental for the second straight year. The location couldn't be better, with such a short walk to all the great shops and eateries on Main Street. The large back yard is truly a bonus. It is very private and has a wonderful outdoor fireplace. We loved relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine at the end of each busy day. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return yet again.

Fredricksburg Stay

The house was so cute! But the beds were SO uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a big marshmallow. It smelled like someone had been smoking inside and the kitchen cabinets and floor was very sticky. Not as clean as we expected. The house cleaners need to do better.

Our stay was okay, the house was old but some modifications had been made. Cleanliness was an area that needed improvement. Also, the instructions for locking the back door need to be expressed in a clearer manner. Overall, the stay was fine, we enjoyed being out and about exploring. Would probably not stay there again, there are other properties to choose from when available.

Great but fleas

The house and location were great. We had ann issue with the second floor bedding but was addressed right away even on Christmas Day. Our two small dogs had gotten covered with fleas and couldn’t stop scratching. Maybe from the yard.

Lots of character

This home oozed with the character of times gone by. We loved the "rock room" and the gardens. The fences were even special. Our only problems were the coffee maker an the ice maker. So, we certainly didn't let that overshadow the quaintness and location. Loved it!!!

Enjoyed this spacious rental with 2 full baths and a lavatory with outdoor and indoor table and seating where we played cards and other games. Corner lot near the action including Main Street which we walked to twice and ended up walking to dinner right around the corner at Hill & Vine and there is a very good breakfast & coffee place next to it. We were two couples and we were happy with our stay. So glad we found this place as it was perfect for us.

Our stay was really great! The property is just as pictured. The location was great for walking to town several times over our 3 night stay! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. In addition, the living room was nice and large for us to enjoy our movie night watching the hilarious movie “Wine Country.” We also enjoyed sitting outside mornings and evenings however you will need mosquito spray in the evening! We didn’t cook any major meals because we had brought food but there were plenty of dishes for us to enjoy our meals. We had an issue with the dishwasher but that didn’t impact our stay at all. Check in/out was very simple and communication was easy! Overall, very relaxing, would stay again, 4 females ages 60-70.
